Greens not dropped when in factions?

I've recently been able to farm some greens in factions now that I am far enough in it. I have mainly farmed Geoffer Pain Bringer, Sskai, and the one yeti boss. I have done many runs (with and without favor for those who believe favor determines drop "goodness"), but have yet to turn up one green. (about 10 of each and only a couple of the yeti boss)

Bad luck?

As far as I know, the green drops are very rare on any boss.

20-40 runs per boss seams to be average for a drop if you go solo

Soloed Jacqui the Reaver over 50 times...WELL over. Never dropped. In the same time, I have gotten FIVE Reefclaw Refuge. So yeah, you figure that out. Seen very few other drop. Took about 12-15 runs to get Geoffer's Bulwark.

Well if you are using hench then they will almost never drop

Alot of it is hit and miss,Ive had alot of greens drop for me,Stormray for instance seems to drop with every different toon I kill it with.Others ,no such luck,Strongroots has dropped a couple of times for me.The Woespreader didnt drop until after I bought it for 10 k ,then I think it droped shortly thereafter,this was after killing him at least 50 times.As an aside Ive killed Wroth Yakslaper well over 100 times with nary a drop of his Yakslapper.It's easier to join dedicated farming groups for a desired drop IMO,than to keep going solo.As an aside I always bring henchies with me when I'm green hunting in Cantha,I know its lowers the probability of a drop but nonetheless Ive had good luck with probably 15-20 different greens dropping for me.Granted most of them I'll never use but hey Ive got them if I need them.

no hench, solo farm, i let him regen to full health too to make sure im doing 100% of the dmg, but yea like the other guy said, hit or miss

I've gotten two low level drops in Factions - the staff from the Skull boss right outside in the Valley from the Monestary. Also the Hornbow from the Ranger boss also on Seitung Island.

They came easily enough.

Then I tried to get the daggers from the thief boss by the boat out there and NOTHING - like 20 tries.

So I think it's completely random. And not at all consistent. I dunno, someone tell me I'm wrong I'd love to be able to farm greens.

There have to be dozens of other threads on drop rates. Anet is not giving up any specifics so everyone is guessing from their limited experience.

For better farming results (my opinion/experience):
1> Farm without hench. (they seem to take more than an equal percent of the drops.)

2> Farm in the middle of the night when no one else is on. (It seems to be related to how many people are in that region at that time. If boss drops green once per hour, and you are on when 200 people kill him that hour your odds are way lower than an hour when only 10 people kill him during that same time period.)

I've been working on the Grandmaster Cartographer Title and the Skill Hunter title over the past month or so - running with henchies. Up until a day or 2 ago, I hadn't gotten a green of any of the many bosses I encountered. But in those past 2 days, I've gotten 5 greens. It seems to run hot & cold with me.

The only green I ever got was in Factions- I accidentally ran into Wing, Three Blades with henchies and he gave me an axe.
