OK i am not new to GW i hav had it since october and i keep seeing all these people in droks spamming: WTS GOLD UNID Platinum Bade .... and i would love to know where the best spot to farm these are ty...

as far as i know, platinum weapons can be found anywhere in factions. ive seen them drop in the kaineng area, from a chest in the jade sea, and i *believe* ive seen one drop in the echovald forest. <.<
not sure about shing jae tho.
and i doubt they drop in elite missions. same counts for raisu palace..but im not sure o.o

Actually my platinum blade dropped in raisu palace. - at the top of the first flight of
stairs where a boss is
no body wanted to buy it though so I salavaged off the +20% longer enchantments and sold it through auction (it was the only mod it had)

yep they drop in raisu palace explorable area. If you don't know what it looks like Lukas [Protector Henchmen] from the kurzick side wields them.
I personally think they look terrible and Oni Blades are much better.

I know for a fact that platinum weapons can drop anywhere on the main island on cantha... im not sure about shing jea island or elite missions.

Platinum skinned weapons can indeed drop on the Shing Jea Island; I know this from personal experience. Though, I have only ever seen them drop from the higher-level foes found in the Crimson Skull encampments. So far, I have had multiple Platinum Longbows drop for me in those locations. Have not yet seen a Platinum Blade there, but I assume that it is possible.

As you can see, every mention of location is a Factons location, just as certain items only drop in Prophecies locations.

I got mine from a chest in the Echovald forest, it was req 9 20/20 sunder, +30hp, no damage mod though. :/

They drop practically everywhere. I've found 1 in the Unwaking Waters explorable, Rajazan was a stingy git, the chest next to him was quite generous.
