The AC Case is bull, it won't cool very well at all. Swap it out with a normal case, and use the difference for an X1900XT. The accompanying PSU is garbage aswell, so if you do (for god knows why) get that case you'll want to replace it.

Bleh, i'd wait until the 24th and pick up an X2 3800+ for $169, much better deal.

100 dollar case, use the extra money and buy another x1800 (identical) and run the 3gpu system!

Thats deffinately another option, though Crossfire isn't really what its cracked up to be, especially when one considers the heat output and extremely large amounts of power consumed....

Good taste, i've got the PC-7B Plus and I love it. If you can swing it i'd go for something like this though. Removable motherboard tray, better fan placement (IMO), and a few other perks

Everything looks good minus one small thing, that GPU is over priced. If your really wanting to record television etc...with the All in Wonder, you'd be better off getting a seperate capture card. As the quality is sub par with those. You can get an X1900XT for like $20 more and get alot more performance.

EDIT - Why do you have a 40GB drive?

I was going to use it for my backup.

Also, I think I am going to go with this card, which is something like you referred to: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814195002

Aren't the socket AM2 motherboards / CPU's priced about even with the 939's? If so, I'd suggest going with an AM2 system, so you'll have a better upgrade path in the near future.

Looks good. I would shell out for two hard drives type if you want backup. That way in the future you have room for RAID or what ever.

You may want to upgrade your CPU heatsink, if not for heat then noise. I forget does the 3800+ have the new copper HSF?

Also consider AM2 is new and not all the bugs maybe worked out of it yet.

Any plans to over clock?

You should still go with the X2 3800+ when the price drops hit, its a much better processor especially for future applacations than that 3800+ and is within like $15 - $20 of the 3800+
