Option to NOT display YOUR character's cape in PVP battles [petition]...

Would anyone else like an option to NOT display YOUR character's cape in PVP battles? That way you can still see every players' cape to help tell apart teams, but just no cape on YOUR character. I play PVP like 95% of the time in GW, and I like to be able to see my characters' armor all around like in PVE, and I don't like capes covering up the backside of the armor. What do you guys think?

So everyone would see your cape except you?

if you have the time to farm tons of gold and ecto to buy expensive fancy armor for your character, YES you have time to stare at it. and you see your characters back like half the time in battles...

Meh, don't really care. I would rather they use the time to do more useful updates though.

especially since elbows of many characters pass right through the capes which looks really stupid.

I think you misunderstood. the op is only asking to turn off your own view of your own cape so everyone else would still see it and it wouldn't affect gvg play.

Actually if they would just fix all the clipping errors on armor and capes that have been introduced with Factions, I would be happy.

bleh, sometiems Ive wanted to do this, but then again, I dont like to pvp with my pve character, I unlock skills in both and like not to have to buy them unless necessary.

this is just to turn off YOUR view of the cape...other pvp players would still see you wearing a cape...

Sounds cool. Some horny noobs will turn it off to see their female warrior in the kurzick armor on the move lol

Well the reason its there is for less confusion on the battlefield. if you have no cape its harder to tell red team and blue team and so forth... basically that is why its always shown atm in PvP in my opinion...

you can still know which team you're on without a cape in pvp ... nearby allies and foes have colored name tags under their feet ... so its not really all that necessary to have a cape on in pvp ... so it would be nice to have an OPTION to not show YOUR's ...

i dont think theres much they can do about weapons sticking through capes, but being able to turn off the cape in pvp would help with that too.
