Golds and No Dmg Mods

Id been doing some chest runs in Nauphi Lately and ever the last week have gttens a few really nice drops (max celestial bow, sword, a golden phoniex) Im always torns as to wheter to id or not but normally end up so.
Out of all of the ones I have ided though only one had anysort of dmg mod. They were all gold all max dmg and then nothing.
Does this happen alot or a I bugging something cause I farmed to much or what?

Golds don't have to have Dmg Mods, but they do have some sort of Mod.

If you thought they had no mods, they probably just had something like an elemental mod (which doesnt add any lines of text to the weapon) and thoguht it had none.
