Idea: Guild Recruiting Channel in chat

This could help this could even hinder expanding guilds if people weere to turn it off, Im really just looking for a critique on this idea.

It would be purple in the chat box. (Purple like the purple items I just figured purple since we already have blue, white, green, and gold)

It could be switched to by clicking on the tab or simply pressing Shift+6 or ^


It would work similarly as trade, and people not looking to join a guild could just filter it out. And people that are looking for a guild but not just scanning the premises for an officer/leader recruit, they could just casually look to see if there were any people talking in the purple chat about their guild.

we dont need a extra channell ...

plus since the player behavior

- the people will keep recruiting on other channell

- the seller will have just one more channell to spam.

it would be stupid for the seller to spam in a channel filtered out by many people not looking to join a guild, for example: I always turn off trade, but I still hear trades it doesnt really bug me. and this wasnt to get rid of people in the all channel this was to help people looking for guilds. Also: Whats player believior?

the only way i'd agree to this is if you suggested it only being available for guild leaders, officers, and guildless people being able to use it. but quite frankly, i don't think we need a recruiting channel. i think he meant player behavior. it would be much like the trade channel, its there for people to use but not everyone uses and they spam in local anyways. the channels we have right now are fine. i personally don't mind seeing people advertise to recruit their guilds. and additionally, purple is the color used by ANet employees such as Gaile Gray. so i seriously doubt they'd allow it to be purple as i can already imagine people impersonating ANet employees. so you'll have to pick another color as well before i consider it.

Oh, I forgot about the color issue, I was just trying to think up a quick color, and I had a purple item in my inventory sitting there.

But I got what I asked for right? I was actually thinking myself that it would be A.) Useless or B.) Just another trade channel-esque issue.

hmmm, on the Guild leader officers and guildless, I dont know how much that would work(mainly the guildless) because if someone say wants to get anotehr guild but doesnt want to leave this one until they find a better one, might be a little flawed.

how bout pink or....black on the color?

I like the guild recuiter chat, but why does black have to be emo? I would say more goth than emo, so that I disagree on.
