Should assassins be made to carry ressurection signets?
i know its a stupid question, but it seems that most assassins die quickly in PvE, and that extra slot can be used to get out and go go. leave the ressing to the others with repeatable rez's.
like the monk, if a assassin stops to rez, hes only putting a strain onto his group because the monk will have to heal them more, and he'll die pretty quickly anyway, so your taking out 2 characters, yourself from doing damage and assisitng (from a distance), and the monk from healing you. You could count the dead guy but hes a basterd for dieing.

Everyone should carry a rez..its that simple (in PvE - in PvP its something entirely different)

If its PvE you should always bring a res sig in my opinion, and you shouldn't be resing in the middle of battle anyways.
I usually bring a res most of the time in PvP, but sometimes I don't bring res when I'm playing a monk with a good group.

no pvp main-backline (oxymoron much?) monk should carry a rez.
but assassins should bring a rez in pve and in pvp. But no 6 second cast crap
Now if your running a ganking GvG assassin, rez isnt needed as much.

i usually talk to my group and see what they say. id prefer not to as it leave me for more room to keep me alive and do my job effectivly

In PvP healing/prot monks should never bring res. The rest of the team should. Couple of exceptions are flag runners and assassins as they spend most of there time away from the main group.
In PvE monk must have Rebirth. And if the group is about to die then just run away, wait and res everyone. It is nice if someone else has Rebirth as well, but the rest shouldn't really bring anything.

provided you are running proper hit and run tatics, the assassin will out live pretty much everyone else in the group... i find myself resing people in my group more often with my sins then any of my other builds.
it is considered good ediquite for everyone in the group to bring the res sig. every profession can benifit more from haveing a different skill then the sig, so everyone is giveing up something for that slot, for the good of the whole.

GvG : They are away most of the time, so useful for a self heal/condition removal
PvE : Should bring a rez.

HA : ?
AB : obviously not.
