Good luck. Hexes are pretty much useless on monks (and to a lesser degree mesmers). There's no way of making them stick - you end up spending 50 energy for three seconds of effect, then the monk spends 5 energy to get rid of all your hexes *and* gains health in the process.

lol I hate doing RA with my monk...

I always get pounded by somebody with a hammer. But on the otherhand I have fun with my warrior in there, only cause I always mix my build up. i do that at the Fort as well.

But if I was serious about the glads title I would go to TA with some buds. In fact we're going to try it out this weekend since its a special event.

i found its bestest playing with people you know then total strangers most of the time, but every once in a while you get one godly team in RA that makes all the loses disappear.

People keep leaving if they don't seem to be winning. IT DOESN'T HELP YOUR GLADIATOR TITLE! Holy hell, some people are annoyingly stupid.

It hardly ever fails. I get a good team in Random Arena and we make it to 10 wins, but the team usually quits after that and goes back to start over in Random Arenas again with new groups. Alot of people decide they would rather take their chances in finding another group in RA instead of staying with the same "good group" that just won 10 in a row, and try to go for another 10 wins in TA. This really pisses me off!

Sure, you can choose the 4 players that you want in TA to set up a good group but that doesn't mean all players are good and work well together.

just play boon prot, warrior or ranger.

also don't rage quit on a team without monks coz sometimes they can get to 10 consecutives too.

Yuph never quit rage... i tired of win with just 3 or at last 2...
You dont need a monk to get 10... think that a monk dont make damage... if you have 4 smart killer machines, every one choose a target and all over in 30seconds... i take 1/3 of my point without monk...

If you have exp and vision of game you will see if a team have future or not...
I never rage quit but... sometimes the team dont have future... like 2 sins in a team... or 2 rit or at last 2 monks... you can win 2, 3... but you cant win 6,7 ...
People look for 1 monk, 1 tank, 1 ranger?, 1 caster? if people dont see this formation they rage quit...

My perfect formation for RA if you get some luck is:

1 monk 1 tank 1 spirit machine gun 1 caster or ranger (better caster)

you can have have fun with

3 casters and a monk

3 tanks and a monk
