no such thing..weapon choice is down to personal taste

if im not mistaken. and i very easily can be. swords do medium damage and attack the fastest out of warrior weapons. Axe is a great damage dealer it has a wide range of damage though. For mods, Fortitude mods are always good or atleast a plus. For PvE Insightful Weapon Upgrades or Engery Boosting mods are good as well. Like.. Malice Black said above. PvE is mostly personal taste. Not really a wrong build in PvE. Most of the time. >.<

Axes and swords have the same attack speed

in tyria, it was next to impossible to use a sword because sever artery wouldn't work on half the enemies.

In cantha, half the places I farm I use my zealous sword....so yeah, they're pretty much equal, it just depends on what you're doing.
