What gives you better drops overall?

Trolls or farming Vermin?
I can do both, but i never done it before, except like once, but i never really farmed it seriously. Which ones give you better drops? like itemwise, items that are worth 90g or troll tusks. Any info would greatly be apppreciated.

ps. I need an axe to farm right? if i do, dammit cause i got a perfect sword i bought and sold my axes. >_<

You don't need an axe to farm, but some effective farming builds do use one. For most of them, its the skills that do the damage, not the weapon - so you could go get a piece of junk axe and it will work just fine. (Cyclone axe to heal/restore energy for example)

Axes are usually used since Cyclone Axe is the default for triggering healing via Vigorous Spirit/Live Vicariously.
