Solution to afkers and leeches in RA?

I suggest that the developers implement an invisible set of values set for each character in the 4-man team. These values (or I'll now call them UP, Usefulness points, yeah yeah, lack of imagination) would start at 0 for each character at spawn. UP is gained by dealing dmg, healing, using skills, summoning spirits/minions, preventing dmg and so forth.

At the end of the match, the game tots up the UP for each character, and whoever does not have at least 15% of the total team UP is denied any form of benefit. Balth faction, exp, whole nine yards, Maybe even incur a penalty.

This could even be put in Alliance Battles, 'cept you also get points for capturing posts. Lazy afker/leech is denied any and all faction gained from that match.

So uh.. waddya think?

Also, while I'm here.. I suggest a change to the Verata's Sacrifice skill, change it to:

Verata's Sacrifice 10 Energy | 2 Casting time | 60 sec recharge
Sacrifice 15% health. All allied minion degeneration is completely reset. Verata's Sacrifice recharges instantly if you control 3 or fewer minions.

I don't see the idea of being afk in RA. Your team will often loose and you'll be back in the outpost in no time...

It already has this in a rudimentary form when it calculates loot distribution. The problem is that your limit is a bit... arbitrary. And the leechers will figure out how much needs to be done to get by, and the limit can't be raised as genuine players start finding themselves denied rewards. It all gets a bit messy.

Its a good point. But itd be easy if Anet put a /kick 'insert team member name here'. Job done. Like resign, except once half the team enter it that member is gone(back to the last town they visited.

In another forum i have posted a solution to leechers in Aspenwood. I think that's priority over RA, but it would work for RA afkers as well. Basically, the only solution is BAD. The process of banning and finding out leechers im too lazy to retype now

ps: it just struck me... there's an easy way to 'report' someone and get him to Anets attention. For instance, IF all team members (except 1 afker ofc) reporter afker, then report would be sent to Anet as priority. Then they can check out if the guy is really afking as in gone to the bathroom etc, or he is continually pressing Enter mission to leech.

Yea..I think a /kick will be sufficient in this case. Typically, nobody want to have one less player on their team, unless they're really not trying.

Sad thing is I often see people AFK in RA, which is weird how you can go afk after pressing enter mission, i'm guessing a leecher not knowing that it takes a team to win and not 3 people 1 afker.
