What is your favorite profession?

this was pretty much monk vs. warrior for me.
my monk lives to PvP and so naturally i spoil him with everything he wants.
but without my warrior i wouldnt have so much gold to spend on my monk, and of course i spoil my warrior as well with all the good golds/greens/armor/etc. and pvping with a warrior is super fun as well. for me in pvp i would play warrior>monk but playing a monk has much more rewards.
so i went with the profession that i enjoy and that made me rich and ... warrior.

Thanks for voting guys! Do you think warriors will still be popular after the last update, which nerfed warriors/warrior items a fair amount?
Kool Pajamas
I voted Ritualist. Then Assassin, Ele, Necro, War, pudding.
Rikimaru
I Don't really favor any proffession. They're all so bland to me. The only reason I prefer to play my Assassin is that I'm under the hope that the next chapter will fix a lot skills for them and add armor that actually looks cool. So I voted pudding.
The only build of any class that I actually have a decent amount of fun with is the swordsman assassin I made, but it's actually fairly weak...

i voted for pudding, as i like all the classses.
when i want to have some challenge, i log my monk.
when i want some brainless action, i get my wammo (dont worry, the henchies suffer from my brainless action )
when i want to feel king, i log my necro.
when i want to use "the big guns" i get my ele.
when i want to be deadly but frail, i log my assasin.
when i want to be a casterĀ“s worst nightmare, i get my ranger.
now i just need two slots for the rit and the mes

Rakeris
Mesmer here, my first character and after four 20s still my favorite!
Nevin
Rangers... They're so versatile, and they make excellent use of a melee secondary. Fangs and Thumpers.
Riceboi
Ritualist for the win!
Natures Spirt
you left out my favourite paragon you bastard what do you have against paragons
Willow O Whisper
May i get 2 votes ? :P

Well, I picked mesmer. Was first profession I ever beat a campaign with, though sadly I deleted him a long time ago, and have only just recently remade another one. However, there is just something about them in PvP that cannot be duplicated. Interrupting healing handz and then removing mending from Wammos in AB, and then laughing at them is honestly the most fun I have ever had in GW.
After mes, I would have to say warrior (main is war), and then jumble the rest in there somewhere, with assasin and para at the back.
NOTE* omg, just noticed this was a major thread res. gg

Its simple, my ele. My ele is the first character I ever made, the one that makes me the most money, the one that I've played the most, and generally, the one I spoil the most. I mean, they are imo the most versatile class in the game. They run support/spike with air, tank/support with earth (weakness, kds), blow everything up/spike with fire, and support/annoy with water. I just love this class .
After my ele though, I'd probably have to say its a tie between my ranger and mesmer. My all time least favorite is the necro (Hows that for a turn for ya?)
Edit: Is this a [TAM] invasion?

I created a ranger in the beta, slowly making my way to Ascalon snaring and running past gargoyles, and nearly 4 years later I'm still going strong on a ranger with the same name. It was my first, my true, my only profession. Nothing else will compare.
cosyfiep
rits are the best---very versatile and a pretty good dance too!
Yuhe Ji
If dervishes don't exist yet (looking at the original post's date), then I'll go with ritualist. They're just so versatile, and with the Napoleon Dynamite dance!
StormDragonZ
I have a Ranger, Mesmer, Elementalist, Warrior and Necromancer that I rotate often to get used to them for any situation.
I still like pudding, so there's my vote.

Monk is my favorite, and currently the only character I really play.

Elementalists can burn, char, reduce to cinder, put in fire, and a lot of other different and funny things.
Elementalist are the most important profession, the rest are there only to distract the monsters a little while Elementalists do all the job.
Remember, anytime you see an elementalist, any elementalist, if you are not an elementalist: /bow
