My guild is holding a 1v1 tourney next week and i need some help on making a build.
There is no changing of skills and im guarenteed to be fighting one opponent at a time. From what ive seen other guildies run, my biggest threat is Touch Rangers.
I would like to avoid using a touch ranger, but i will if i have to.
Dose anyone have any suggestions on builds that would be good for 1v1 fights and beat touch rangers?

A solution to touch rangers in 1v1 is easy, all you need is
1.Some sort of knock down skill
2.SOme sort of continuously upkeepable slowed movement skill
3.Some sort of degen skill
All you have to do is keep the slowed movement skill on them, keep the degen on them, and knock them down so they don't catch up as your casting them.
Take an e/me for example.
15 earth
12 illusion
5 air
All you need here is Ward against foes, conjure phantasm, and gale.
Gale your opponent as he charges to attack you, apply the conjure phantasm and put down the ward. THen, run around in the ward until the skill recharges, gale him again, apply the degen, put down the wards, ect, ect
This would also work against melee.
And hell, since the casters likely wont be bringing much hex removal, sacrifice some earth attributes and up your domination. A simply backfire coupled with a few other domination skills will bring them down in an instant.

interesting strategies awesome sauce. I will try that w/ my ele vs a tank tonight. I think Me will PWN all other classes in 1vs1.
