Obviously from the title, you're all probably expecting me to give you a build that can kill multiple types of ppl. In a sense, you can. The truth is you're hardly ever going to kill anyone in the fashion most assassins tend to play as; that is a string of attacks. This build is ment for high survival rates, versitility while fighting any character class, and can really piss off the guild ur fighting against.

This build is ment for the following; gvg-pvp-ab-aspenwood (and such)

Pro's
-----
1) If played right, chances of death will be slim to none

Con's
-----
1) Requires great patience in fighting an enemy, cannot just go all out because there is no all out

Add more to either list if you want, I dont really care
###############
###############
Enough of the formalities; lets get to what you came to see.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Name: Utility Ninja (A/E)
Equipment:
15k Luxon (it doesnt really matter, i just like the one shoulder ninja look)
(I go all shrouded for energy, you do what you like (shrouded works best tho)
*Mask: Bladed Mask for +1 Dagger
Runes: Minor Dagger (Major works as well)
Minor Shadow
Minor Critical Strikes
What the hell, Minor Deadly Arts
Weapon: Sundering (Golden Talons) Daggers of Fortitude [15>50] - F1
Sundering (Dragon Scythes) Daggers of Fortitude [15>50] - F2
Zealous (Zodiac) Daggers of Fortitude [+5 Energy] - F3
Zealous (Platinum Sickles) Daggers of Fortitude [+5 Energy] - F4
Attributes:
Air Magic: Level 10
Dagger Mastery: Rank 11+2
Shadow Arts: Rank 6+1
Critical Strikes: Rank 7+1
All else into Deadly Arts
*Note: You can take out some on deadly arts for shadow arts if you feel like it, its just Id like to keep the +2 energy gain at rank 8, but its up to you
Skills:
1) Shock
2) Falling Spider
3) Twisting Fangs
4) Aura of Displacement [E]
5) Expunge Enchantments-Or Blinding Powder
6) Shadow Refuge
7) Dark Escape
8) Res Sig or Blinding Powder
How it Works
-----------------
This build looks like just the typical Shock-Spider-Fang Build to begin with but really the two skills that actually make you effective is the blinding powder and/or expunge enchantments. The res sig should only be brought if your in gvg. It should only be excluded if your guild doesnt require you to bring it.
Strategy
-----------------
To start off, your main goal here if youre in gvg is to aim at w/e your guild tells you to, most of the time it will be monks (duh)
Monk killing is especially easy with this type of build as blinding powder should only be added in if you know ahead of time you'll be fighting warrior/assassin based enemies. That means you should have expunge all ready for every enchantment the monk uses. I will now go into specific detail on strategies to fighting every class
*A second assassin using the exact same build as you and working with you can indefinatly kill ANY class by proper coordination. The trick is to have one assassin pull off his chain of attacks, wait for the second to pull off her chain, then have assassin one use shock and spider as it will already be recharged.
Warrior: Enter with Aura of Displace (aod). Use shock, then falling spider, then blinding powder if you have it, if not just complete the combo with twisting fangs then double click aod for instant escape, followed by dark escape for running. Doesnt sound like fun huh? Well the thing is Shock and spider recharge in 8 seconds, leaving u with lots of fun time to run back to the war after tricking him you're goal is to escape. 2/3 of his life is what you should be aiming for, leave the rest to whomever to clean up your mess. In the case that you have blinding powder and it isnt removed, continue to sit there and take your chances with his misses while u wait for twisting fangs to recharge. It this happens give it to him. 2 twisting fang combos will put him at about 10% life and give him a farewell present of poison and deep wound. If he tries to cast breeze use expunge. If he tries to use his signet use shock. Easy.
Ranger: This one is much easier than the warrior. Same strategy, enter with aod, shock, spider, fangs. Blinding is not needed vs this class but u can if u want to tank. You actually can tank for about 2/3-before half your health if you want to wait for fangs to recharge again. Use shock is the ranger uses troll. Vs. Touchers is a different story. This one requires fast clicking. Enter with aod, shock, spider, fangs, double click aod, Dark escape. Repeat.
Ritualist: These guys are annoying because you have to KNOW that you wont be killing them. All you're really doing is helping out the team by messing up his spirit spamming with shock and making him run to the monks for healing when he sees all those conditions on him. Just continue to put pressure on him if u can to stop him from using his spirits. Remember you are trying to be as useful to the team as you can, so leave the killing to whom ever your team wants to be the damage dealer.
Elementalist: This is a joke. I laugh when i see my opponent is an elementalist. Aod-shock-spider-fangs=20% of their life or less +bleeding+poison+deep wound. They'll die from the drain so dont worry about killing them personally. The toughest ele's to kill are earth ele's as they mess up your initial shock. To ensure this doesnt happen, aod in and swing ur daggers around for a bit. 80% of all elementalists will use some god forsake huge nuking spell to try to instantly kill you because ur an assassin. If you see that this skill cannot optentially interrupt you, go for the win. Not much else to say.
Necromancers: Wow, this one is even less dangerous to you than the ele. SS's here and there, degeners here and there. Only way you'll die is if you cant kill them fast enuff and they cast all their degen on you. You will die from the after battle. If you can pull this off quickly, you can interrupt their initial skill. (i dont understand y spellcasters always seem to pull off their master attack on you as their first attack. Its so stupid because it just makes them vulnerable to interrupt) Caster players plz post this as this is almost as dangerous as a tanking sin oO
Mesmer: Is it a degener? Perhaps a empathy user. Or maybe even an e-denial OoO. W/e the case you use the same strat as vs. Necro and ele. Not much else you can do is there. Don't worry, these guys r just a bit more dangerous to you than the necro but less dangerous than the ele. Only e-denial/surge can mess u up on energy. But that's y u got ur +5 energy weap, yay you! Expunge in case they have illusion of weakness on them or if they're a I-weap user.
Monk: The most satisfying to kill. Your expunge enchantment skill will be put to its maximum use here. The trick is NOT to show them your skills until you can get a good deal of hits on them. Monks will generally just run away from u if u get 5% of dmg on them. To do this, swing ur daggers for about 5 seconds. After that, use shock, spider, twisting. After this they'll be like o sh**!!! and cast some kinda heal. Following that heal will be a breeze. If you time it right, you can expunge the breeze and hopefully w/e else hes got on him. Remeber that there will be more than one monk around so make it snappy on killing the monk. If you cant do it in 2 strings just back off as the exhaustion from shock will mess u up from here on. Aura of Displacement isnt needed here but its always useful as there might be warriors coming in to defend their monks.
Assassins: Probably the hardest opponents you'll fast. The thing about assassins that no-body knows is; they can do and be almost anything (hint: did anet just do something to potentially make the assassin a ninja??? Ninja Art: Transformation Technique!!!) Ususally these days its just a nobody tanker using unexpected strike, fox fangs, and death blossom. Dont get me wrong, sometimes the unexpecting strike users come with some punch. But usually if u see and unexpecting strike u can relax a bit, he wont hurt you too much, just go into ur shock string and kill him. Run a bit if u need a recharge but remember to kill him. If you leave him he'll be annoying. If you happen to have blinding powder then use it. Expunge off his shadow form if hes a shadow former (yes expunge goes right through shadow form). If he's some messed up variation of a elementalist, ranger, warrior, w/e. then just defeat him like you would when u face that class but just know he has way less defense. Dont let your guard down, he can pull a fast one on you if u dont take assassins seriously.
Did i miss anyone? Nope didnt think so.
Info That Will Fill in the Blanks
-----------------------------
Q: Y are you calling this build a ninja? Arnt ninjas and assassins the same thing?
A: No, they're not. Ninjas tend to look more into...um..i dont know...living? Assassins tend to put their life into whoever they're trying to kill. Also to use the term ninja means putting yourself out of the catagory that "assassins" sadly put in (cough cough tankers). Plus i like ninjas more ^^
Q: Whats with all the weapons that do the same thing?
A: Before going into battle, you have to analyze your opponent's armor and skills. If you did your homework and can recognize armors that have defense vs. piercing or slashing, use the one they have no defense against. You have two copies of the weapon you want, only difference is one is a piercer and one does slashing. The skins help you tell them apart if you happen to not forget to switch.
Anyways thats all. No flaming please just critisizm. I only want to make GW a better place for assassins and this build will hopefully give them the image of useful. And another thing, if you see me playing, i mite not be using this build. I have many many many many more, just wanted to give the general public something to work with. Kenji Akatsuki is my assassins name. Don't wear it out. ^^
If someone posted a similar or identical build plz do not be offended. I posted this without checking to see if there was one so maybe a little note or a link is enuff.
TY and enjoy
Interesting that Expunge will drop Shadow Form, but that's about all it's good for. Most Monk enchantments are recastable every few seconds, and a 30s recharge is not very good. Even if you Expunge Healing Breeze off, they can recast it only a few seconds later.
Otherwise, it looks like a standard Shock/FS/TF A/E build.
thats exactly wat i said, if there was a build like this then well good for it, just wanted to put my little twist on something that is apparently being used. i know that monk enchants cast every few seconds but there is the factor that shock can interrupt one if they're casting it, healing breeze does not have to be expunged but maybe dual smite? triple smite? just a thought. ty for comments
also really the only difference between my build and the shock sin build is the fact that expunge is in it and so is blinding powder on occasions. shock sin doesnt really rely on these skills as does this build for high survival rates.
