Great, my armor is screwed...

So now i have a useless 15k dyed black set of knights boots.

Way to fix that now.

My Fissure Ascalon helm that I got ages ago is now a piece of rubble.

its time for people to whine about it lol.

altough it only affets physical and not magic.. so much for my -5 20% =/

As a person with 6 slots and none of them occupied by warriors, let me be the first to say:

YEAH TAKE THAT! HOW DO YOU LIKE US SQUISHIES NOW!

i have a warrior myself, and i used full knights during prophecies, and dreadnaught when he moved to factions.

it surprises me how a -2global damage reduction that is now local spells the doom for warriors

Warriors get triple nerfed, and none of those nerfs were needed.

It's not "whining" - it's a legitimate grievance with ridiculous over-nerfings that unbalance the game against Warriors, and the fact that many people are screwed out of having useful 15k or Fissure armor pieces any more.

I dont think the -2dmg loss from the boots is a big deal, its just like a slap in the face though. And if you are wearing a full set of knights you are still at a disadvantage.They just made all the pieces completely useless now. :P

How dare they not get armor that works differently from every other armor in the game. Warriors are supposed to be UBER and OWN HARDCORE.

Seriously, it was a bug, and it's about time they fixed it.

" Updated Warrior Ascalon and Knight's Armor sets so that the damage reduction applies only when the corresponding location of the body is struck. The damage reduction applies only to physical damage, and the amount of reduced damage was increased from 2 to 3."

Sorry, but I know people are shouting "why the nerf?". But A.net has corrected the armor, really the damage reduction should have never been global.

If you want total reduction you need the buy the whole armor set, sounds fair to me.

As for those with "useless" armor bits... just replace them.

Use the search, there's already a thread on the update and a lot of discussion on the changes to armor.
