Improvement to Necromancer's Minon interface
Thallandor
We currently have a single Icon that displays the numbers of minons the necromancer is maintaining and though it helps to give an idea of how many minons the MM is controlling but you cant tell which Minon type is currently alive esp in the heat of the battle and it serves little purpose otherwise.
The suggestion would be to expand on the concept to allow individual minon type icon be shown on the interface much like how you select characters in Warcraft 3 and allows you to see at a glance what minons types are alive and maybe a little red bar under the icon to idicate health as well. The nerfing of Minon army size to limit of 10 make this implementation possible and while the complaint of screen cluster maybe an issue for some, just remember that it can be customised either to reduce or expand it or completely removed altogether.
The improvement would allow the following:
-Knowing which minon type are alive and their health.
-Allow better minon targeting for minon targeting spells eg Death Nova.
-Make MMing more fun overall without overpowering/unbalance since this is just a interface improvement not a skill/stats boast.
Please feel free to discuss and give suggestions.

I would welcome the idea. They should do this for all minions in the party though, not just the ones you control. That way Minion Masters could help each other out. Also, if they were to include this, they should also include spirits with the same update. Certain skills, like spirit walk on the assassin would benefit.
Thallandor
I am not sure if its feasible to include other MM's minons within the same party without consideration for screen cluster but i agree that it should definetly apply for spirits for both ritualist and rangers to help them keep track of their own summons at least.
Having the summons interface showing up only on the respective class involved rather than everyone in party is definetly gonna be the case to aviod screen cluster as fore mentioned unless someone else has a better implementation that will work well in a combat environment.

I would also welcome this, I think about how nice it would be to have one every time I play with my MM. However, merely having a screen like that would make the MM far more powerful then it is now, since it can then target minions specifically for death nova instead of targeting (more or less...) randomly during combat. It would also make it much easier for the MM to kill off his older minions by healing specific minions, or healing right after one of them dies.
If they had made this the same way the party screen looks it would quickly become chaotic and difficult to keep track over since the party screen has a tendency to resize it self when members join/leave.
But for rangers and ritualists I think it's a great idea to add a list of spirits summoned (though not with their remaining time alive).

And maybe even showing the whole party's minions of that type, and highlighting yours!

I would like to have any better interface with the minions, as it is now horrible!

At the very least, one thing I'd like to see is Fleshy getting his own icon, so you can see instantly when he goes down as opposed to one of the riff-raff.

I like the idea of having the minion type icons, it would be cool to at least click the icon to cycle through each minon type to target them for healing and death nova and so on, but having each minion's mini-healthbar is nice too. And having a minion menu (press M or whatever to access) is cool to open and close it when necessary. These are awesome ideas. Anything is better than what we have now! If they even do so little as to make your own minions show up when you press Alt that would help.

I hate finding out in the middle of a battle that my Flesh Golem was killed and I used its corpse for a weaker minion, then I have to find a substitute for the Flesh Golem summon.
What I suggest is maybe add minion tablets in the spot where maintained enchantments are on your screen(deafult above the energy bar). That way each minion has a tablet and you can click on it to target it will a spell like death nova. As for the health of the minion I don't know where one would fit it on that small icon, but there could be some sort of indicator, it gets darker or lighter as the minions health goes down.

you know why they havent added this cous it would outballance the game
exemple: death nova if you would add a screen so you can klick on each minion you can pick the weakes out cast death nova on it befor its death and would not gife the enemy any time to see that the minion has got it on it so they wont have a chance to remove it or to run away from it.
also you would have it way easyer to heal your minions the idea is that they die over time why els would they lose health over time.
there supposed to die!
as for the golem its big so you can hardly miss it to heal it if it dies and you used his corps to make some weaker minion bad luck its the game it would defently outballance the game if you make a screen for something like that

This says it all really. I'm all for it still because I love my MM and it would be great to be able to play as a true MM by the definition of its title. Beleg Curudin's suggestions are VERY nice, if those were implemented it would make my day, especially the second pic.

No, it wouldn't affect the balance of the game at all, based on the same concept as Hand of Death mentioned.

A very simple change, and yet a big step in the right direction, would be to give the flesh golem its own box -- right now it is darn near impossible to keep track of him in any decent-sized fight. The fact that he illogically doesn't show up with the Alt key only makes matters worse.
Avarre
Make it like the d2 system, where you had a box (with number remaining alive) for each skeleton type, and a seperate one for golem.
So you could have a box 'controlling X fiends', 'controlling Golem' and so on, and if 1 of them remains it shows the health bar. Clicking on a box would insta-target the closest of that type.
Having seperate tabs for all your minions would be a little cluttering, I think :/ Could be worked out though..
