
So i sent Anet an email of all the things I think need to be changed, and they sent one back saying please post on the forums, which is exactly wht im doing... -,- anet can be a pain in the... sometimes

(if im being stupid, and if there is something more subtle i would appretiate someone pointing it out.)
At the same time i would like some input from people who also think that i have missed something, that mite be considered a bug, or to help game playability feel free to contribute and chastise anything and everything. Apparently the elite forums have some effect on the future updates, as anet staff read them and evaluate what they deem to be worthy of an update, and also to see other player responses.
ANYWAY on with the small niggles and possible tweaks to help playability.
1) When you press Alt (Targeting: show others) you can see allied minions. You can see enemy minions by using the ctrl key, so i believe the same should apply with allies. Also this would make the use of death nova much easier to apply, especially when there is alit of enemies around.
2)My customised skillset tab in the character status:
When one press's H and viewing your character Attributes, Factions, and titles, there is another possible addidtion that i can think of that would be REALLY usefull for players.
That would be a Tab similar to the factions one but with options for our own preset skillbars.
So say i wanted to play as my monk, there are various skillsets that i would like to use:
For example i want a skillbar that uses protection prayers, i would check the box next to my custom made skillbar (Skillset option 1 for eg). Likewise with a healing skillbar(Skillset option 2...etc).
With this option allow the Attribute points and the name of this custom skillset be set by the player.
3) As a Necro, using minions, or a monk, using bonds, I find that the cutscenes are a PAIN (and yes this deserves the emphasis by using capitals).
It would be cool if all effects such as minions that die, energy degen, hp degen could be frozen to prevents these rather irritating problem. It is sods law that says that there will always 1 person that doesnt skip...and why should they If they havent seen it before?
This will also prevent conflict in the game because people scream "SKIP THE CUTSCENE" and if they dont, fingers are pointed and the gaming expeience is fouled because of irritation and sometimes unfair verbal comments.
Either that or allow cutscenes to be skipped like they can in Alliance battles, so that you dont run out of energy, or have to rebuild your minions again.
4) A proffession changer at the guild hall, (easy for you to put one in, just have it like the one in senji's corner, and only available to Pve characters that have allready changed proff onece before)
5) When one uses a skill that disables an adrenal skill ALL of your adrenaline goes and you cant start gaining adrenaline untill that skill is recharged. In short it should disable skills not
wipe out all built up adrenaline AND skills at the same time.
6) When i play as a mezmer, my skill casting takes 0.5-0.75 seconds longer to cast when i attack. This is due to the fact that the attack motion is not cancled, so we have to wait for this motion to complete.
When the Warrior attacks he stops attacking IMMIDIATLY when an adrenal skill is activated so that it wastes no time performing it. However the mezmer has to wait untill his wand drops completely before casting a spell.
7) Allow players that get DC's(Disconnected) from missions to rejoin. (I have heard rumors that you are doing something about this).
8) Storage... well what can i say, i never understood why you could not upgrade belt pouches, or make bags bigger. Even if all could be increased by +5 or +10 it would be VERY usefull.
Either that, have another storage place on your character for Armor because Most ppl seem to have 2 sets of armor and that takes up about 7 slots... (i have 3 for 1 character so xD)
As another alternative, have special bags/magical containers drop from certain bosses that allow as much storage space as a backpack.
9) Salvaging: I used a superior salvage kit to get an upgrade and got 12 piles of wood...... -,- this is really is not good, because how hard is it so take a string off of a bow?
It's not like its welded to it..

10) In special events, keep special event items out of the Elite missions, no one is going there to farm the orbs.
11) Make you character more like you, so make them left or right handed, and possibly different attack motions... like sword, axe and hammer fighting styles for warriors.
12) For Elementalists, i have had an idea for a new weapon! Woohoo... however i needed to ask first if it is a possibility. What would be AWSOME is tatoo's on the palms, so that the balls of light, fire, ice, water, air, darkness etc etc emite from the hands instead of wands.
Also I strongly believe that there should be a greatsword idea that has been incorporated into the strength attribute. As a big fan of Greateswords(By this i mean the Two-handed swords not the sword pretending to be greatsword). Im sure you can guess that i am APPALLED by the fact that my most beloved type of weapon is not in the game.....

There are also skills that need to be questioned. For eg does a certain skill REALLY deserve an "elite" title, or vice-versa.
First up is the ranger...
Quick Shot, I was trying real hard to find combinations that would put this skill to good use, and i could not pin down anything.
For example, using this with apply poison, but that is useless because poison arrow can do the same thing, only with 1 less skill slot wasted
IF this skill had an instant cast time, (like the skill barrage), and a recharge of about 3/4, Then POSSIBLY it would redeem itself.
Either that, being such a useless Elite have it as a normal skill.
(Incidently there is a non-elite skill that called bestial mauling) "If this attack strikes a knocked-down foe, that foe is interrupted..."
This made me laugh when i saw it, WHY would one want to interupt a knocked down foe?)
The warrior...
Battle Rage: My opinion in the first place is that as a warrior one should be able to attack faster.... there are NO elite warrior stances that increase attack speed, and that dont have any
major drawbacks. So if this skill was made into a 15 energy skill and have attack 33% fater, using that high energy for a warrior as the penalisation then it should be a good elite.
Also not have the recharge and the length too far apart from each other.
After all battle rage should be something that means "Battle rage"... what i mean is that the skills name implies that it would help fighting, not running away.

Flourish: Not sure if it should be able to work on Pet attacks, however i may be wrong.
The Ritualist...
The BEST out of the 2 new proffessions... well IMO

Consume Soul... This should not be a mere duplicate of feast of souls. i reckon that this should be an "all party member" spell not all "allies in area"... just because that would ACTUALLY be worth destroying a spirit that takes 45 secs to recharge and 3-5 seconds to cast, (and also much more fair).
The mesmer...
psycic instability does not seem to work... and as for the discription it seems to have a conditional scripting part to it... i have used savage shot, savage slash, cry of frustration, etc etc, and it only seems to work should that target be using a skill. That is not what it says on the description... (i may be wrong here).
Thats all from me really, like i said before, if i have said something that would make a stupid update, or anything other than possible typo's and shorthand writing (^_^) then please post your opinions.
