Prophecies Characters Protector of Cantha?

Please forgive me if this has already been discussed but....

A little while ago I read some posts here about whether or not characters from prophecies can become protectors of cantha. The general consensus was that - yes - it was possible.

However, I just finished the first couple of missions in factions with my character (basic and masters) from prophecies but there is nothing in the title track indicating I am working towards PoC.

Does this mean that actually it isn't possible?

I don't see why it wouldn't. E-mail Guild Wars about it.

I dont know why it is not showing in your titles panel, but YES it is possible to get both Protector of Cantha title as well as Canthan Grandmaster Cartographer with a Tyrian born character.

I do not have any Canthan born characters and have both these titles as well as the two Tyrian ones as well.

Thanks - I will have to look into it - I have a Canthan cartography counter going but neith er me nor my guildie have a title track for protector. At least I know for sure now that it can be done though.

Did you get the Masters reward for the mission? If not the track won't show until you do earn masters on at least one mission.

When you say Basic and Master levels...its scaring me, as their are THREE levels.

Basic, Expert, and Master.

You only mentioned two, so I'm thinking you could be confusing experts for masters.

Make sure the Mission icon has a HUGE Red Spear through it, not just two swords.

Aha! You have solved it for me Former Ruling. But, why does it scare you? Worry not though for there are plenty of products on the market to calm those of a nervous disposition.

Have you tried Valium or Bach Flower remedies? :P

Seriously though, my inappropriately frightening way of speaking aside, I think you have hit the nail on the head. I only just got started in Cantha so I didn't realise there were three levels. I am used to Prophecies with just the two so it never occured to me that there could be three!
