Ever thought of running a group with 4 MMs? Yeah that would be sick but botm would kill you instantly. Well... what if you had a 5th necro, a minion healer?

Make him a 55 necro, N/Me

Arcane Echo, BoTM, illusion of weakness, aotl. Anything else you want, doesn't matter.

Not much too it, he uses illusion of weakness to kill himself and put himself at 1 hp (you can do it more than once just in case morale gets you). He sits in the back and cast botm and echos it in heated fights. As long as the sacrifice stays below 50% your good. You can have up to 47 minions with aotl the healer will still take 0 damage. Its fun, I've run it with 4 MMs in vizunah. The MMs can also run flesh golem now with no worries (I prefer aotl on real MM build), dark bond, and spend most of their energy spamming deathly swarm or whatnot.

Minions will die every once in a while, but its not from the degen, just heavy damage on it.

The thoughts of minions being sick in my mind have all faded...
Somebody today in my guild thought that it would be cool to run minion factory

I think the days when having 40 minions seemed "sick" to me was back when I first arrived at Yak's Bend and one single minion master lvl 19 had a good amount of minions.
Now I see minion master as just a lowly tool to walk your way through PvE....
Its really no good for AB because you have to stay with your minions to the end or you'll be without damage until you can raise more....a capping group would have to stay in one spot until whole groups of people are dead....
no offense to your ideas though.
