-50 HP Cesta - Cities of ascalon.

Hello this may have been posted before but, does anyone know if the -50 Hp Grim Cesta is going to be stopped in the cities of ascalon quest?, just so i can prepare for it.

No one can tell you for sure if it will ever be deleted. Those that would know via testing are bound by non disclosure agreements and couldn't say.

Based on the recent updated, I would surmise that if they do ever decide to change the reward that they will also change all the ones in current inventories.

Meaning I wouldn't go horde a few hundred in hopes of selling for millions if I were you. They've left it intact for over a year now, and there are probably hundreds of thousands in circulation. Chances are good if they ever decided to "balance" that item, it would be a global change.

I couldn't pick it when I did the quest a while ago.

In my opinion they should nerf the item and make it -20 instead.

Even if anyone did know, its not likely that they would post it, either because they work for Anet, or because it would cause lots of other people to farm the item before the nerf, meaning that the price for theirs would go down.

farming would do no good since they would hit every one in inventory as well same as the SoA double axe.

There's no reason for the -50 to be cut off, as the 605 build is not only becoming popular but stronger in many places. Not to mention that there is practically nothing 55able that isn't farmable in another way...

not to mention that without that if you start at 105 health, you could die once, resurect at 33hp. Then you go kill a group, die again to put you back to 33hp, kill next group, die, etc. Sure it is a bit slower, but it still works.

Removing the -50 hp item will not make a big difference, except for those that can't figure out how to do anything by themselves.

I still have mine and i did the same quest on my other character and once again got the -5hp and the scroll. that was at midnite Pacific time.
They are not going to nerf it. No matter what.
