Hi there, this is my first topic on guru forums.
This is my Assasin/Mesmer build, I use this most for Random Arena but I would like to test it in GvG.

Unsuspecting Strike
Fox Fangs
Critical Strike
Critical Eye
Sharpen Daggers
Shadow Refuge
Expell Hexes
Rezz

Stats (without runes):
Dagger Mastery 9
Shadow Arts 8
Critical Strikes 12

Armour: Full Nightstalker's Shing Jea

Any critics? Sorry for my bad english

First of all, Nightstalkers in GvG = Bad Idea. You need mostly shrouded for your energy. Secondly, Assassins in GvG are best at sneaking around that back with the guild theif and taking out enemy NPC's. To do that, a teleporting skills, such as AoD, is very useful.

I know you might not want a "cookie cutter" build for PvP, but TBH the GPS combo or shock combo is the best skills for an assassin in GvG.

Bring Critical Strikes down to whatever it's energy break point is for +2 (brain is jell-o right now so I don't remember), I usually keep 10 crit strikes. You want your dagger mastery at 12 or higher, no questions asked.

If you're going to use it as a gvg build, you'll want Twisting Fangs in there somewhere and you'll want to dump unsuspecting strike (if your target so much as gets hit by stone daggers the damage spike won't hit). You'll likely want to start with an offhand so that you can save some energy and make a longer combo, I know that some gvg 'sins run something like-

Shock
Falling Spider
Twisting Fangs
Shadow Refuge
Dark Escape
Caltrops
AoD
-utility/rez-

AoD is just the ultimate teleport skill, other than that it's just a basic shock combo with caltrops and a run skill.

no offence, but this build seens like a plain dmg dealing build with a bit of condition causing (sharpen)

depends on how you mitigate damage, it can have various effectiveness, but lacks self defence (say flashing blade/critical defence)

and agreed as above that using AoD will be much effective as it transports you to action right away...
