Why do 12 man Deep runs ? when u can do it 7-8 man ?

Save the Dolyaks [NUKE] is mainly a PvP guild but we enjoy some farming now and then, here are a couple screens of our favorite means of income .

Well, the main reason we PvE is to make our PvE characters PvP ready. Its worth it for various advantages IMHO.

I would be alot more inclined to believe this if the classes, and bottom of party window wasnt intentionally cropped off. There is usually a reason people do that...
Also, try to keep in mind that the Deep is not that hard at all if you can put together a team of players that all know thier jobs and work well together, its just that half the bloody battle is finding those kind of in teams.

yea i find 12 people isnt needed either. i've done it with 9 and took like 3 hours. Just make sure everyone knows their jobs and listens to the leader correctly and take your time.

umm congrats?? but it's not that big of an accomplishment, most groups i've been in start off as 12 and end up at 9 after people err 7, get glitched into the map or rage quit. but, some of us prefer PvE to PvP and for us PvE isn't a joke, it's fun there's other areas that are way more profitable then the elite missions to solo farm and team farm.

Take a group of 7 good pvpers and you can finish the deep faster than a group of 12 pve'ers. Likewise, 4 good players in FoW can clear it faster than a full group of 8.

8-man is very much possible, I certainly believe those screens; I'm simply not dedicated enough to spend the extra time in there.

Yae challenge and extra time that um what challenge and extra time? it takes us 2 hours on average and people rarely die. and as for awesomeness we will let you know when we decide to do a 6 man run and last time we did we had 3 people who never do the deep and 1 who barely ever pves

As a note, our fastest was 1hr 41minutes. You don't need to believe that, either. We PvE for the comradeship and to get away from the pressure that a lot of the facets of PvP require, and to prepare PvE characters for PvP.
Time spent playing with the same people often helps teams work better together overall, also.

The fun in PvE comes with hanging out with some friends and getting some cool drops. The only reason *I* do it is to get cool stuff for my PvP characters because Guild Wars requires you to do that to be maximumly effective. I can spare 1 and a half hours to get a drop worth 100K + some ectos.

eh, i do a few of these runs with my guildies, its good on the money and when we do the 9 man runs it means that theres less people to pug. more of a guild group. as nikki said she does it for pvp stuff (though she goes a little crazy on the dyes)

It isn't the deep that is frustrating or hard, it's the PUGs. If it were practical to get an all guild group, it would be a breeze.

yes dc and things make it finish with less then you start with but we start with 8 intentionally and finish with 8.
