Two Qs: preorder items and ranger preparations

I no longer get the factions preorder items in my inventory when I create a new character. Was there a time limit?

Also, I've noticed that when my ranger applies preparations, the first arrow or two she shoots afterwards don't seem to have the preparation. For example, if she applies poison and then shoots and hits, the opponent isn't poisoned. It takes another arrow or two. If I wait a second or two after applying the preparation and then shoot, it works. Is this happening to anyone else?

/bonus items or /bonus

maybe /preorder items or /preorder should make them appear

Nope, didn't work. They used to show up in the inventory automatically every time I created a new character. Now nada.

I double checked on my account, and they do still show up if you type /preorder

But, just like always, that command only works in town.

As for not getting them when you make a new character, I don't know what to say. They may have changed that, or it may have been a bug to begin with. Hard to say on that one.

You no longer get the preorder/bonus items automatically when you create a character, you have to /Bonusitems for them.

I found this out a few days ago making a PvP character.

Don't know if the same as true for PvE characters, but I'd assume so.

You might get them if they arent in storage when you make thatn character.It works with Game Of The Year version for the old GW.

As former said, they are nolonger automatically added to a new character. You have to type /preorder or /bonusitem while in an outpost to get them.

Guildwiki note on thursday's update:

* Newly created characters no longer receive pre-order items automatically. To retrieve them, you can still use "/preorder" or "/bonusitems" in an outpost.

Thanks guys. I read the update but didn't see that for some reason. And I was typing /preorder in the training area outside the monastery, which is why they weren't showing up.
