i've been seein people put this on auctions that were over 100k, so can someone explain to me what this means?

since the max amount of cash u can trade is 100k, ectos as used as support cash. the price ectos are valued is between the trader buy/sell price.

165k = 100k + 65k in ectos. with ectos = 7.5k-1k = 6.5k each

165k = 100k+10ectos

You as a player can buy ectos for 8k (today's price) from the rare materials trader. I mostly see people selling them for 7k.

wait, so if i'm tryin to sell an item over 100k to someone is the person tradin ectos to me in exchange for gold or is it the other way around?

You sell for 165k and they give you 100K +10 ectos(if Ectos are selling for 7.5 at the trader).

doesnt it mean 1000 ectos (1k=1000)? isnt it like y2k, meaning the year 2 thousand(for example^^)?

Btw if you don't feel like giving away your ectos but you would have prefered 165k cash, then ask the seller to sell back the 10 ectos at 6.5k each. They usually don't mind.

Basically because most people are farming these days, gold has less alue. So Items have stupid values. Which in turn means more people will have to farm to get these silly amounts.
