New B/P Teams for Tombs?

We were in tombs tonight and happened to have a R/N and couldnt find a Orders! So we went in and tested this build! It worked and i swear on my life it was like speed killing! Now the monk skills in this build can be changed. I didnt really get to talk to our monk "Someone stole his ecto towards the end!". So i posted basic build with some extra's.

I ask you try it and give me feedback.

Some other comments:

Nuker: is sorta fireball spammer, thats why you need Serpent's Quickness

Monk: I Suggest Vigorous Spirit for healing when low on energy. For Every action taken by the person its on "includeing fireing arrows" it heals for a certain amount of health.

Ranger: the builds stick to B/P but add new skill determination in the B/P. This also gives more options for having R/N.

Troll Ungent seems kinda useless here, considering if your getting attacked you'll be dead in 2 hits. should probably replace Troll Ungeant for Throw Dirt. if your pets/MM is doing what they're supposed to though, you should rarely take dmg from a normal B/P Run. if your healing with Troll, your monk must either be bored or minions/pets not bodyblocking like they're supposed to be. Wilderness Survival is probably only needed on the Winnow Ranger, else drop it on anything else and boost up Marks to 16, or hell put some in Beast Mastery for kicks.

dunno about the Orders on a Ranger, considering he would stop to cast, lowering group's DPS. a constant, more powerful OoP or OotV would be better in my opinion, as the Ele probably casts kinda slow and has no eng management whatsoever with 2 Exhaust skills.

not even gonna touch the MM build, as MMs would run theres differently and have various ways in which they would work. I remember before Factions I sued to run all 3 minion types, Nova, Taste of Death, with only BotM to heal them, and BiP as elite. which worked out fine in the end with this being so fast from 1 group to the next and with so many exploitable corpses coming from the dead pets and mobs.

you just seem to be trying to fit an Ele Build into play where a B/P group with only Rangers, Necros and a Monk seem to be dominating fine already.

Ele doesn't have ANY energy management. Even without the exhaustion from Meteor (Shower), you'll run out of energy very very fast.

Secondly, some of your rangers seem to have completed both +15 attribute point quests, and a mysterious +9 quest that no-one else has found. Care to share? 11/9/8/8/4 isn't possible.

Thirdly, a R/N can't possibly maintain Orders when needed, with 1 less regen pip and no soul reaping, the energy cost alone wouldn't work. And that ranger should spend time barraging instead of casting. When you add in the need to be healed (an Orders necro has thier own healing, and unless they're under attack, shouldn't need help from the monk). Oh yeah, and 8 in Blood? The difference in damage output between that at 16 Blood is 7 per hit. Over 5 barragers (if the R/N actually had time to barrage), that's 35 (worst case), or 210 (best case). 35 damage is almost the same as the after-armour DPS your Ele can put out to the same 1 target.

Fourthly, you're only using OoP. OotV heals you as you hit, which can certainly help against a number of problems.

Finally, an Orders necro should be doing a lot more than orders. Healing the party with the excess energy, making sure the monk is OK for energy so the monk can spend all attribute points and thier elite slot into what they're there for.

Overall, yes, it might work. But I've done 5-man barrage runs pretty well, so I'd rather do things the normal way.

Maybe they've always been there, but I do seem to recall more and more elementalists in ToPK lately. I was going to try out a Ele-BP variant group one time, but it was too difficult to get a full team. Most people are either afraid or just not willing to stray from the tried and true standard B/P group.

I'll tell you what though the very 1st time I tried playing B/P in ToPK we did not have a monk and we used a Ritualist instead and we flew through it in under an hour. That was the best B/P group I've ever been in. Unfortunately its been all downhill since then. I've only completed ToPK I think 3 times now. About the last 10 times I've played it we only get about 1/2 way through it because of quitters and/or disconnects. I now have a real love/hate thing for ToPK. Great for farming, but frustrating as all get out when you spend so much time that kinda goes wasted because the groups consistently fall apart. Quitters and disconnects are a part of the game and I understand that, but the ToPK area of the game seems to be some sort of breeding ground or haven for them.

We did this build and tested it. It worked preety good. Ele did report low energy a couple times but BR helped alot. Monk was preety good and so was our MM.

Think of it this way. He didnt use Meteor or Meteor Shower much. He basicly spammed fireball and Rodgorts. So it was like mass damage. We went through tombs in about 45 mins. IF we didnt stop inbetween for regen i think it would of been about 10 mins faster.

As for Elemental Atunment i think that is a good choice. I didnt say this was the best build. It is a speed killing and mass damage build.

Also i may add this build does need some perfection but i did check the numbers on attributes. Yes some of those can be modified so that they change. I also though the Soldier B/P build could instead have 2 traps like barbed and dust. This would slow them down and make them blind. While the puller pulls then he could lay them.

There is lots of variations and the point is that you dont need an orders. its a pure damage team.

using a Ranger for Orders AND Br + Barrage at the same time seems not to work.. He aint really doing Good Orders.. And if he need to give the ele energy then he aint barraging.. So imo then it seems better to go with: Monk, MM, Orders, Ele, 4 barragers OR Monk, mm, ele, 5 Barragers.. Seems better to me than having some Ranger Half arseing 2 jobs..
