The Following is a build i use to farm the fire imps in North Kryta Providence. They dont seem to drop much worth it but if you need common and sometimes even rare materials heres the place to do it. I use an expert salvage kit on the weapons they drop as well as the glow hearts as their's a possbility they'll salvage into charcoal. Also on the weapons because, for me anyways, their weapon drops seem to salvage into steel ingots more then weapon drops from others. Now the common materials you can get are granite slabs, scales, iron and wood so dont be frustrated when you dont get any rares your first time through. Ive done this about 5-6 times and i've gotten 8 steel, 55 granite, 19 scales, and a bunch of wood and iron as well as two lumps of charcoal. Anyways heres the build for ya.

Attributes:
Healing Prayers: 8
Swordsmanship: 11 + Minor Rune
Tactics 11 + Minor Rune

Then i put all the rest into strength but not really needed so;

Strength: 3 + Minor rune + Helm

I use a Green Exalted Aegis from Factions endgame and a 15^50 katana which can be achieved at Kaineg Center. My armor is full Berserker Armor for the added health.

Skills:
Sever artery
Silverwing slash
Galrath slash
Flurry (Can be exchanged for tiget stance if you put remaining in strength)
Purge Conditions (optional)
Healing Signet
Healing Breeze
Mending

So you leave Lions Arch into North kryta Providence and along the main road you come across 2-4 groups of imps. Take only one group on at a time. The imps are low level (11) but their degen hurts like crazy. So use Flurry to build up addrenaline and sever artery and one of the two slashes. When your targets health is almost gone Swith to a new one and let the bleeding finish him off. Heal when needed and if your health gets low due to degen use healing breeze and run otherwise they'll use it again and kill you off. That said if you dont bring Purge Conditions id advise a running skill. Well happy Farming!

I use an icy dragon sword with a +7 vs ele mod

What to do
----------------------------------------------
put on Mending and Live vicariously , then just lock on imps and kill them , make sure to keep attacking to heal yourself and try not to make long gaps between killing each imp, enjoy .

All you need is Elemental Resistance, Healing Signet, and attack skills.

Their fire degen could kill a 55 monk in a few seconds no matter how much possible degen you have due to energy problems and casting times.

Thats not true... Fire makes a degen of -7... In My experience... the swiss army knife build has a standard regen of 6 + live vicariously... use a wand and bring healing breeze instead of zealots fire. This will bring your regen to 16 [or 10...] When you start burning, the effective regen would be 9... which already is way to high to even be slightly bothered by their other attacks... So dont start complaining about stuff you dont know anything about.

Mending +breeze at 9 healing prayers = 10 regen, and with the minute amount of time you will have -7, you will still have + 3 from mending. Thats enough to tank 5or 6 enemys for about 20 seconds,by wich time you will have more energy to recast breeze. Good idea with the imps, now go try solo hells pricipe
Edit: Take healing breeze out, it consumes too much energy for a warrior. Take another offensive skill, or take the factions skill " extinguish" Even with no prot prayers, or maybe 1 or 2 points its a much cheaper and faster way to counter burning.
