OK first off, sorry if anyone ahs suggested this already i havent seen it.
alright, so my assassin is by far my favorite character, im one of the few people (in my opinion) who actually understand how to use an assassin to the best that they can be.
but once in awhile the assassins huge damage and escape artist skills just dont cut it agaisnt a huge mob or a monster that refuses to be beat down...
my suggestion:
Shadow Shroud {elite}
energy cost:10....casting time: 1 second.....recharge time: 60 seconds
for 10....20 seconds after u cast this spell you cannot "aggro" creatures. this spell ends prematurly if you attack. this spell cannot be activated if you have taken any sort of damage in the last 10 seconds.
(attribute: shadow arts)
sorry about thw "aggro" im not really sure what Anet calls it lol.
this would be a skill that you would use if as stated above u found urself in a situtation u know u can win and prolly cant just run past. so u use this spell and walk right by the creatures without them noticing you.
this cant be used as an escape spell because u cant use it if u have taken recent dmg. and it cannot be used in conjunction with shadow form because it to is elite.
there are a few minor gaps in it of course such as what happens during PvP? do players just not see you while this is active?
anyway post ur ideas, comments, and if u must, spam/flamming

I generally think any skill with PvE only abilities is a bad idea. Aggro is agrro, and I don't think skills should mess with that. As for invisibility in PvP, again, way too overpowered and way too irritating. Shadow form fulfills the purpose of this skill just fine.

the name shadow shroud is already being used anyway . and yeah, this skill would have no use in pvp. and sure maybe the assassin can get past that group of enemies with this skill, but what about the rest of the group?

how is it overpowerd? the second u attack with it, it ends and u can be hit.
and i didnt know shadow shroud was taken...hmmm lol ive never seen b4 for some reason...fine Shadow Cloak it is! lol
and like i said, this isnt for offensive so it prolly wouldnt be used much in pvp anyway. this is just about gettin past a group of stuff.

Being the most 'saddest' skill in all of GW, even Otyugh's Cry can be used in PvP. You'll need to develop this idea further so that it can be used in both situations. As it is now, you're toying with a technical mechanic which becomes 100% irrelevant in PvP.

PvE: Why would anyone every bother with any other running skill if this is available?
