I posted this question about the June 13th update in that Tracker thread but looks like everyone is going to stick to complaining about the warrior stuff there. So I figured I'll post my question here about a certain part of that update and hope for an official response or maybe someone has seen how this works. I haven't seen a difference yet.
Modified the algorithm that causes the alliance battle line to shift. A faction that pushes into enemy territory will temporarily gain a "momentum bonus" that helps it drive the battle line further into enemy territory.
so how exactly is this suppose to work. I havent seen a big change in AB. Please can an official explain what goes on with the algorithm improvment?? I'm just really puzzled about the momentum bonus.
Improvement of the Algorithm of AB.

I haven't seen any visible bonus inside an actual battle but I have seen the Luxons push past Durheim Archives which had never happened previously so it seems likely that there's *some* sort of change.

thing is luxons did push the line to durheim archives before, guru.com has the map posted up on their site at the Map Gallery. If the line is suppose to give even further, well I don't see that happenening after 5days since update.

ANet may have made the initial "momentum bonus" minimal to gauge its effect on the border line movement. Hopefully after a weeks worth of data they'll increase the bonus in hopes of getting more significant border line movements.
Or their data has shown that no amount of "momentum bonus" can overcome the map advantages provided to the losing side. If this is the case, then in lieu of a bonus they should switch the maps so that as one side starts to push into the other sides territory, the alliance battles start taking place on the map with a slight advantage for the winning side.
