With DP for pets in PVE missions on the way, many have been asking to let pets benifit from heal party and simmilar skills. Even more important for me would be letting mission ciritcal NPC's benefit from heal party.

I am REALLY tired of waiting, and waiting for the group to find thier second monk on missions like "Thunderhead keep". Monks are great and needed, but as it is today you need another monk just to babysit the npc. If you have to keep them alive at all costs, shouldnt they be considered part of the party?

Hopefully his isnt a repeat topic, I didnt see anything on the index about this

I've always thought that if they were added to my party member as allies, they should reap the benefits of wards/spirits/skills I use that effect the party.

True, if they are mission-critical you should be able to Heal Party and Aegis them and they should benefit from spirits and such. It doesn't really make sense to be gimped on defending an important NPC by treating them differently than the rest of your party.

So, /signed.

They also need to make sure that all mission-related NPCs go in the party window in the first place so that you can click them to find their location on the minimap if they get stuck, and see their healthbar when they are getting attacked, and so on. I haven't really run into that problem in cantha yet, I haven't even been through the whole game in cantha yet, but in tyria they can be forgetful about putting NPC allies into the party window, and are especially bad about it if the NPC is for the bonus mission.

If they appear in the party box they should reap the benefits of party spells and skils.

The fact that they are not in the main party is so that they cannot benefit from resurrection skills. Ever thought of that?

Invalid Spell Target?
Technically when you are soloing a mission you are "mission critical" so if I died with Lively was Naomei, I can't be rezzed and let the mission continue, same could be applied to the NPC's, Once they die, mission over, whether they somehow rez or not.

You obviously did not understand. The reason why they are on separate parties is because of that.

I would agree to keeping them on the allies list but then still reaping benefits from wards, wells, and similar things.

That makes more sense.

Im suggesting its unbalanced as is today. Only pets would be a change to PVP, and they get DP as of last update. I dont see it unbalacing PVE, I think it would make exremely frustrating missions merly very difficult, possible with only one monk.
