Factions: overall for farming whats better??

Well, looking at most of the builds im guessing its between a warrior and a monk. What are most people using to farm in factions? just wondering so i can take 1 of them first and start farming asap.

I'd say it's becoming a buyers market. Not really worth just getting into farming for the first time right now. Maybe with the release of Nightfall (depending on how the farming opportunities there present themselves) that would be a good fresh start.

I would say try to make a warrior in my own opinion. They seem to be able to always manage to farm a warrior boss or assassin boss(which from the look of it has the best greens). Also with the new expansion coming out, you might be able to make a lot of money quickly being the first to go solo farm some warrior bosses or whatever else possible. Also warrior farming imo is kind of easier to do stuff with since your not relying on enchants. Atleast for melee mobs anyway.

It's never a bad time to start to get a feel for farming. Money, while always a plus, is not the only reason most farm. There is a challenge and satisfaction in trying to find ways to beat certain monsters on your own and do it successfully. It took me less than a year to get 3 mil spread across my 4 accounts. I will never need money, but I still love to farm and figure out new ways to farm things.
@Op. Go with Warrior at first and get the feel of the different ways to farm with that class and different secondaries.
I use my main warrior and my 55 me to farm. In order to farm a lot of different things, sometimes one primary class isn't going to work, no matter how hard you try.

I've got a 55hp necro, 55hp monk, and touch ranger. Lately I've been feeling like making a warrior. The Grenth's Balance warrior just seems to be so versatile.
Shadowfang
I've got a 55 Necro, a Grenths Balance (easily changable to a hydra farmer and an ettin slayer) Warrior, and a rarely used for farming Ice Imp Ranger. The ranger, though, usually does chest runs though.

I have:
- a 55 monk (unused for at least 4 weeks)
- a 55 necro (unused for at least 2 months)
- Warrior/X (money maker 1)
- Ranger/Necromancer (Money Maker 2)
- Standard Curses Necro/Mesmer (Money Maker 3)
Honestly, for farming in Factions it all depends on the type of farming you;re focusing on. A 55 monk is (or maybe not, not aware of your financial status) out of reach of most beginning farmers. For quick and steady money, 55 monk is my favorite. A warrior is a good second. Farming Vermin is a steady income, and can be done by every level of experience as long as you got the right skills on your bar.
For big money farming greens is the best. But its unreliable by far, because it always depends on the sale you;re gonna make. Me, I'm an impatient guy. I hate to spam 'WTS - [uber cool stupid staff I dont wanna have but I love to stuff it down your throat in trade of some hard currency]'. Warrior would be the prime choice, but I personally like to use my touch ranger, easy to use and maintain. Warriors rely on their equipment, a ranger is more focused on skills.
Farming materials works fine too, dragon moss for fibers, vermin for scales. Then again, you could be spamming around 'WTS - Materials blaaaaaat blaaat XXXg'. I store it and just hope someone needs it. Excesses I sell to the merchant.

I agree, I remember that I have sold Lou's Karambits for 100k when factions just came out. Now people are more organized in farming greens and the prices have dropped alot. There are few greens in Factions that are in demand because they are hard to get and nobody bothered to farm them.
