customization of caster weapons

please, PLEASE anet...maybe something like, if we customize a wand or stave, we get +5 energy or 5% chance of faster recharge or something like that. +20% damage customization is awesome for attack weapons, but just ridiculous for caster weapons. Sorry if this has been said before.

but the weapon is not suppose to be that great, besides they do have mods and offhands for a reason :\. The power comes from team strengh and teamwork, and that all comes from skills. One reason a level 3 player can beat something level 6 is because of skill use.

isn't customization of a weapon +20% damage during attacks? How is that not 'great'? People kill for 15^50 weapons, adding another 1/5th of your attack on to the total damage is very powerful. For every 100 points of damage you deal with attacks, you deal an extra 20 more. However, this is completely useless for casters, and I believe they deserve something usable as well.

I can see your point. It would make more sense for caster items to get like a +1 energy bonus instead of a +20% damage bonus.

... As for what the nature of it is... not sure. Perhaps extra energy (percentile)... Perhaps better casting ability... *shrugs* ...

Customisation of Off-hands would be nice too.

Trying to wand something to death for +20% customization bonus is laughable.

The game mechanics of how weapons work are fine, Anet has better things to do just because you want your SS or arcane echo to recharge faster.
