Im re-rolling a monk, mainly for the 55hp farming build, im going Mo/N for UW farming, but I will do PvE and PvP too. But I was thinking - I've always found prophecies to be really slow for leveling when questing, yet factions I can easily hit level 14 in a day. But I need to go prophecies for easy acsess to the farming spots, plus all my guildies are there.
So I was wondering, does anyone know of a guide of grinding I could use, thats effective and fast? For example:
Level 1-5: Kill *...* in *...*
Level 5-10: Kill *...* in *..*

i made a prophecies monk.......it doesnt take TOO long to level cuz u know what to do and what not. example:
>do not spend more then 10 minutes on a 500xp quest,
>buy athena ashes for 100g
>get guildie lvl 20 barrage ranger to do all ascalon missions in 5 minutes for you
>get a run to sanctum cay at lvl 13
>when at lvl 15 feel free to ascend and become lvl 20
the good thing about being a monk is that even if you are lvl 13 you are still accepted in lvl 20 partys. so you will not have problems

Correct me if I'm wrong, but can't you just create a Canthas character and do only the main quests to get you off the island. Then run to Kaineng Center and do the quest to talk to Mhenlo. Meet guildies at Lion's Arch and have them run you to Droks?
By the time you leave Canthas, you'll be level 15-20. Unless you really run through the missions, then you can be like level 8 or so.

Someone told me you cant get runs in Factions? Is this correct.

no it's not. you can still get runs...but the towns are so close together that you can get there yourself

You can get a runner to run you to certain areas, but other areas (most of the time) everyone in the group must have the quest to get you to the other city.
I tried running a friend from one city to Arberstone. We got to Arberstone and he couldn't get in. He had to go to the Temple and do that quest before he could get into Arberstone.
So you can run in certain areas, but usually you must have the quest to allow you enterance.

did u say grinding? Don't frget a level 13 can't heal as well as level 18 and in some parties they won't except enything if you are't level 20.

that is, for the most missions behind something very easy like divinity coast, people already want two monks. there, 2 level 13s will probably be avalaible, and for most cases, the other monk in the party will be higher (desert at last).
and the other missions after wont be a problem due to ascension and PL'ing if needed.
