Selling Guild Wars accounts ?

i was just thinking..
People in cities like Droknars Forge sometimes write(s)

Faction CD-Key for sale 100k or something like that.. and people selling their accounts for real money etc..

Ain't that illegal to do ?

Selling/transferring/trading/giving accounts is against the EULA, yes.

Dunno how illegal-illegal selling the CD-key itself is. It's bit like selling an used game, tho there is no guarantees that the CD-key isn't used already. Scammers ahoy.

around 99.99% of CD keys/accounts are scams.

As a game is worth about £25, and on ebay that would be around 500kish, most people try to sell accounts for 10k... see the obvious flaw?

Never-ever-ever buy an account from someone else. Besides being a EULA violation, Raiin Maker is dead on. 99.999% of the time, it's a scam. Say someone sells you their account and you can even log on to it, they can always go back to Anet support and reclaim it and there's nothing you can do about it.

Seriously do anyone REALLY try to buy from this guys?

My mate did... The code he recived wasn't even long enough to fit into the bar you enter it. XD
