since Nightfall will have an African setting, i'm thinking of a wide, open, more panoramic and breathtaking view than Factions, log-in screen. somehow i pictured the alien's world from Final Fantasy:Spirits Within before it got destroyed. Yellow, orange, bright sunlight, savannah theme. But then it's *Nightfall* so maybe it could be at night with the moon, the occasional passing cloud blocking the moon, some stars and a streaking comet once in a while

they should, they need little water to live. When it does rain like that 1%of the year they absorb water fast and store it like camels do. lol. Dont think about those tall big cacti. I was talking more like the small ones.

What about a map for each character. So when you click on each one individually it shows there location and how much of that map they've explored.

The desert and forest in the background sounded good.

I think it'd be kool tht it strted with you viewing an Inn, and when u select a char the char walks out of the Inn and stands out the front, and enters when you choose a new one

I think that'd be sweet!

I think it will be of a desert with an arabian like city in the background. It would be night time. There would be some peaceful music, but when the music changes to a darker tune, ou would see lightning in the clouds. That would be awesome, but Im not too worries bout that.

I would like at least the ability to choose your login screen. Like there will be another one added, but if you don't like it, you can change it back to the factions one, or, if you want, the one before the factions one (I would like this because I started playing GW right when the login screen was changed, so I never was able to see the first one. I have always wondered, and still do wonder, what it looked like.)

Better yet, you can do what I said above, AND you can load logins from your comp.

Oh and that inn idea sounds cool too, but I think, unless they give you options, they would do somthing more like a desert or something.

But seriously, would be nice to have a login screen that you could customize with wallpapers on your computer already and such.

And of course the customized would stay local to your machine. Just make sure you dont put up anything you wouldnt want your mother to see at home.

Well...after todays update, it seems it's here to stay (there are arrows of which I think will 'scroll' you sideways to other characters not on the screen, and your able to select the way you want them ordered as well (not, aphabetical or RP/PvP))

We can hope for different backgrounds though

I Think it should have all of your characters standing around (again) outside of a town or at a camp or something, but have everyone much further away than before and have all of your characters doing different emotes or something, to make it look they're all socializing with eachother. Then whatever one you select runs up to the camera, like before. And weapons should be visible on them.

I love that idea. I hope they do it.

They already made some changes to the login screen. You can pick the order of your chars. :\ And there are these big, tacky arrows behind them. WTF?

A new login screen? A lush oasis, perhaps... or a view of a large bustling city (with the player standing on a high balcony in the foreground)

Also, there will probably be new music to go along with it (the oriental music score was introduced along with the seascape background, wasn't it?)

And I'd really like to see a way to swap login screens+music between the prophecies, factions and nightfall BGs, at will.

Basically the event coming on July 28-30 is the same as the Ch2 PvP event we had when Aner introduced battle isles. That day we also got a new login screen.

i doubt there will be a desert "overlooking" a forest. doesnt make a lot of sense to me. Forest- needs rain. Desert- got none. Come on, man...

Id like to be able to pick my login screen. I hate the stupid ocean one- the original was better.

I hope you all are right, and we ge the desert-style login soon! (with no forest)

seem to me elonians should have a very evolved civilization
i wish i could see some city and city movement, with animated daylight changes, and random events that occour in it like something diferent and very random timed, but i liked the idea of havin a new char slot, lol, think i just think the actual screen is quite boring for everyone.
Some camera movement over land would be very cool too, slow eagle fly.
