who has got the oldest character?

my oldes is 8 months now or something like that.
(type /age in game)

started off at the first guildwars and later got factions.
played out factions not so long ago, die shiro
(still havent finished 1de just got out of the desert there
dont think I get realy far there any way cous I be off to the new one once its out )

Kago has the oldest char. His monk was AFK before they even had NPCs in marhan's grotto.

I'd think the oldest you can get is almost 15 months currently. My oldest is about 14 1/2 months old now.

Hence, I did have a 17 M/O char, from the early betas, but she's gone now...

Basicly everyone that kept theyr character from the betas (like me),they are all the same age, the aplhas /age was also reset correct? so the aplhas and betas are the same age.

Yep, the Betas win in the oldest character catagory. Mine is pretty old, though, being a "Week after release" character. 16 Months and counting

My oldest is 4 months, but I have been playing for nearly a year.

Yea i always delete my chars too :S my eldest now is 5 months i think, but ive been playing for 14.

I had a Ranger from the January BWEs, but he was deleted a long time ago..

My oldest is 13 months.. my first char (a monk) would have been 14 months, but I deleted him too.. if I had known that Anet would give b-day gifts.. >_>

the beta characters were reset so the oldest characters were made during prophecies world release.

and i have one :P.

If I remember right (I wasn't actually part of the betas) I think it worked like this:

The Character was Reset (Level, unlocks, etc wise) but still existed in a "new character" form (a palceholder character to reserve the name). So /age still counts the beta testing time - even though the characters were wiped clean.

:\ Might be totally off base though. But my reasoning does flow with the rest of the thread that suggests that beta time does count.

I believe that my oldest character would be about 14 months, but was deleted long ago so my current oldest is my E/Me at about 13 months.

Although right now I'm perm banned and still waiting from a response from [email protected] as to why this is...

Yep, I do believe you are off base since my Ranger was originally created during the WPE. All characters, except maybe dev characters had their age reset to start on release day.

i played in beta and if i remember correctly, all characters were deleted but the names were reserved...i personally have two i made on the first day of release

I just hit 13 months on my oldest character... I suppose my first character would have been 14 months now if I hadn't vaporized his pixels. lol
