People have been having problems for days now (see other thread). And yes, I too got and error 040 when warping to a new area (EU server) and now can't get past the char screen, error 013, whatever that is. I blame Shiro, Anet and NCsoft. I also blame Bush and that mexican tortilla I had yesterday.

Code=013 started popping up about half an hour ago here as well while I was travelling, now it just pops up every time I want to start playing. Not much we can do about it but wait I guess.

code 13 is an aanet problem- the servers are down, can be anything from 10 mins to 3 hours before they get up and running again...

This is quite a frustrating day. Its the hottest July day for a century, I had to work away today in an office where the air con was broke in front of a window with the blazing sun coming through, then my text messaging breaks so i can recieve messages but can't send them (cue texts from my girlfriend asking why I don't reply), then a do my ankle in so I can't play football tonight, and now code 013 is laughing at me!

And i have that 013 error....I was ( we were) finished mission in Wilds,we got 1000exp,than it crushed.Now i can't go in,and I don't know if that mission is done.1 hour playing that mission for what?! To go doing it from the beggining?!

I think they might have destabilized their network somehow. Maybe the new method they have of globally affecting items has something to do with it. Or maybe the upcomming week-end event is making problems.

people who say anet totaly suck everytime theres a connection problem proberly never played a soe game.

I am currently standing in Team Arenas English Dis 1.
I am the only person here.
In addition out of my full friends list, but two are online, both of which are currently on US servers.
I have not changed district since the problems started, about half an hour ago, so i guess you get an Code=13 when trying to zone. This happened once before in Team Arenas, where you couldnt get to the district, but it seems to have happened right across the european servers.
My conclusion? Somebody from ANET spilled a couple of cup fulls of coffee on thier servers :S Possible some pre-event stuff. Hope it gets fixed soon, sitting in TA alone is novel, but not particularly fun :/

7:14 PM Eastern timezone, New York USA. I try to log on my sexy monk and oh my bbq sauce error 13. I feel relief that i am not the only one that has gotten the error, im sure everyone went to guild wars support and filed a complaint. Have fun with the emails a net
