sound like something serious :P
Try reformatting again. If the problem still persists then try using another new Windows CD (borrow it from a friend) and after formatting _do not_ restore your backup files. Instead scan them, and onlky restore files you know are safe.
I researched your problem and look at the first result in google :P.

mmm I like the sound of boot sector virus. My Third Guess
Driver issue was my first guess though.. but oh look, its also a probable cause too.
Second guess was hardware failure... which also seems to be a cause for this.. looks like you have some troubleshooting work ahead of you.

It is something serious, and i did load the Nvidia RAID drivers when i started installing. Funny thing is, i couldent load them when i pressed F6, I could only load them when it was installing itself. I saw - (NVIDIA RAID CLASS DRIVER) and nvraid.sys installing itself, so im pretty sure its working
Should i format in NTFS Quick or NTFS regular

Go here, this may help resolve it;

More than likely though, the MBR is corrupted and you will have to reload it. If you dont know how to do this, do a NTFS quick and reinstall the OS

Its a RAID controller issue, most likely with SATA. Pressing F6 at the beginning of the Windows Setup and using a floppy to load up the RAID driver.

I finally caved in, taking it to best buy, hopefully they'll fix it for me. I tried installing all types of drivers on a floppy from a usb floppy drive, none were recognized. Oh well, thanks for the help

The Disc must have a txtsetup.oem file on it or setup won't know how to find any of the files on the disc.
But you decided to take the easy way out...oh well.

It did, i put in the disc, no dice. Oh well
