Just a small tweak to the Friend list, i'd like to be able to open a little note box next to the persons name so I can put in some information I have about that person.
I have a poor memory of remembering who's who when out making friends in Tyria and Cantha and tend to forget why i'd added a certain person in the first place or where i'd met him.
For example i'd might meet a person who is interested in buying raw materials and I wanna keep them on my friends list as person I can go directly to to sell. Or maybe I met a guy who I get on well with in a PUG, maybe I could write down where I met him and a bit about him like his class, to jog my memory a little. Or perhaps someone I know is a experienced farmer and i'd like to meet up with them now and again to farm Kephket.
Perhaps the same should also go for the Ignore list so I can remember why they're there in the first place.
Just a small change and could only help to keep everyone in better contact.

Hmm... Something more elaborate then that needs to be done. I liked the FFXI system... Although that included E-Mail and a little too much to be honest. Maybe people should have profiles? And when you click on them on your friend list their profile would pop up? Kinda like the Hero menu. But with more personal info. (RP or IRL)
Like for RP you would have the name of your main character, the picture, along with other things. A brief description, age, sex, height, weight. Etc etc... All the stuff RP people want.
For IRL you could have a real picture, real name, then age, sex, height, weight (all optional for the touchy ones), and a little message box.

No point, the system works as it's intended. It's not their fault you're forgetful. If you want you can take a sheet of paper and a pencil and write down the names of people and some stuff you did with them so you don't forget. I do it as a matter of fact, simply because I'll forget that I met that one generous person who did me a favor and I'd like to pay them back some day.
