I think the GW engine has a fair bit of life in it, it still impresses me visually even today after playing games like Prey, and seeing the PS3 titles at E3 this year.

And there are always tweaks via patches going to be available.

Remember that the World of Warcraft engine is based on the RTS engine for W3.

p.s. does anyone know the name for the GW engine?

once pc game gfx starts trying to compete with ps3 titles...gw gfx will prob seem avg

Yay for Nightfall and lots of new professions coming. :] And I really like Factions surprisingly moreso than Prophecies, even if I'm not a PVPer.
