Obtaining Blackout

Can anyone tell me if Blackout is available to buy in Cantha from any skills trainers? If not, who will sell it in Tyria?

I've also noticed that you receive skills as opposed to money in Tyria for doing most quests, is there a quest which would unlock this skill? I bought Prophecies to go with Factions...I have taken my Mesmer across to Tyria but have only been to Lions Arch thus far, I'm not sure if I would be able to do a quest at the beginning of the game to get blackout if I started at Lions Arch?

Everyone says it's such a good skill but I can't find it anywhere....thanks in advance...

according to guild wiki, you cannot get blackout in cantha, but i might be wrong, my tyrian based mesmer already had it before moving to cantha, so i wasnt't actually looking for it. you can get it from a quest (lost princess), bartoch (skill trainer in droknars), or dakk (skill trainer in ember light camp).

Hmmm, is this just me, or do you have to go right through the prophecies game before you can get to any of the decent skills? They are all in droknars, or those fiery islands, it's the same with elites, they are held by bosses really far into the game.

Blackout can be capped as a reward for the quest wison said and it's about half way in Prophecies. Elite can be capped only from Crystal Desert.

Used to be that you could cap elites much earlier in Prophecies, but Anet moved 'em all farther back in the campaign. Still, you're getting skills as quest rewards, so it's somewhat motivating to bother with the pve anyways.

blackout is a skill u either love or hate.... you will see alot of ppl not using it... but as i said, others will never not have it.... i think its in the jungle from the trader... or close to that area....

get it at Droknars Forge...
