Just wondering if anyone knows, but will we have to delete one of our characters to try one of the new professions??
I missed the faction preview so just wondering if anyone knows anything about that.
Extra Character Slots for Nightfall Preview Weekend???

Ok, what happened on the Factions pvp weekend was that we could either 1) use a character slot that we already had, or 2) use a special key to effectively gain a preview account.
Anet has yet to release a statement as to whether or not they will provide use with special keys for this event.

I hope to god that they give us an extra slot again as I cannot delete any of my 6 slots atm. The only one I could delete is my lvl 20 Ele but I gotta keep here for the 12 mth pet due shortly before getting rid of her.
On the other hand, I dislike PvP anyway.

They will NOT give us an extra slot. Anyone hoping that they will needs to stop and think for a moment. That extra slot has to disappear at the end of the weekend, any error in such a system could result in another (lvl20 FoW wearing) character to be accidently deleted. What would you do then?
Extra character slots have only ever been given out as a function of the pre-order package, on the understanding that they would only become permenant when we put in the retail key. It was made VERY CLEAR, that the slots themselves were NOT going to be deleted, possibly because they don't have the programming to do so. Instead we were simply unable to access them.
Slots have NEVER been offered for a preview event. End of story. For both the pvp and pve weekends we were given the option of a "guest/special" account.

With Factions PVP weekend, was there a few day notice on the guest keys? I think we had the invites a few days-week before the factions PVE, I might be mistaken though. I know some people that want to try GW's PVP before buying the games. Just thought i would ask, I was not around for the Factions PVP, and it has been awhile since the pve.

A.net will not give us an extra slot for the PvP weekend. Most likely there will be firends keys or you have to delete a character.
Lucky for me I only use 5 slots for PvE, and save one for PvP

I'm really surprised they didn't rush out the "buy-a-slot" feature before the preview weekend. You'd think they'd want our money.
