Loading EVERYTHING

ok so Ive got a prob thats annoyin me
Yesterday I think I removed a GW file by mistake and whenever I go on Guild Wars where-ever i zone to it has to load like 8,000 files. Well maybe not that many but normally more than 1000.
This is really annoyin and takes ages.
Can anyone suggest what I may of done and how I can fix it?

Here is the listing of the files from the root directory:
->root
-gw.tmp -- no effect, its a temp file
-gw.dat -- holds all your gw data
-gw.exe -- runs gw
-->Screens -- your screenshot folder

Since you can run GW that means gw.exe is not deleted.
Deleting the temp file does nothing - gw just recreates it (0kb)
Congrats, you deleted the gw data file... total size of 2,329,984kb +. (about 2.3gb)
You are not loading 8000+ files, you are downloading them. When you load into an area gw is downloading files. No solution for this except to uninstall gw and reinstall. Your dat file will have some of the data from the cd... greatly decreasing the amount of data you have to download online.

Is there anyway to download stuff for every zone at once?

Hmm not sure if it will work but try just going to the login screen and leave it for a couple of hours. I know GW streams things to you but I am unsure if it streams _everything_ to you.

Yeah just do that. When you download the client it says leave it on overnight in the login screen to download everything but it will take a while

BTW I suggest that GW make downloadable patches :P Much faster that way. lol
Just next time backup your GW.dat file on a DVD or something
