New Invasion Mission?

if I remember correctly, the same time we had the Factions PvP Event for Asn and Rits, the Dakrness invaded TopK. I'm thinking maybe they'll do that again for Nightfall, or was the invasion of TopK only to give a use to it since HoH got moved to the Battles Isles?

I for one, wouldn't mind an extra area to Factions, similiar to TopK, with some level of difficultly to it. dunno where it would be at, though. Darkness invading Divine Ascent?

Yeah, at least it would be practical reason that the TopK invasion happened due the Battle Isle system.

About if something similar will happen with this coming PvP event, I'm little bit sceptic if something massive will happen in the world before that...

Though I hope there will be many things in upcoming months that will hint players about new chapter, like when Factions was coming..(npcs, little quests, etc)

I miss TopK =( I miss the Rifts I hope in c3 they bring back the rifts or add some more PvP play because I heard that c3 is being made by the creators of the first GW which will be more into PvE play unlike the lack of PvE in Factions and more PvP gameplay.

anet may have forshadowed this with the invasion during the Dragon Days event.

They did. The Dragon Festival Loremaster by the SHing Jea Monastery Storage area said the monsters broke loose from the rifts of Elonia, which happens to be where Nightfall is.

Whether they will have another "invasion" style event, I do not know.

Ive got it the elonians are the protectors who are keeping those monsters in check and locked up. But someone how they got loose probally some big bad boss and all hells breaking loose them invading and such and the elonian lands are being turned into some night realm were the bad guys came from.

What are these rifts people keep talking about?

Old Tombs/HA feature, instead of killing the zaichen NPCs, that are there right now, you used to get invaded by rift wardens, with a higher morale bonus, the longer you lasted against these.

I think you've got something going there...make a new thread and post your theory about Nightfall's plot...I really think you've hit the nail on the head for the story line

Interesting - when the Grasps attacked Shing Jea there was that Fury guy who just sat there doin' nothing - Anyone else notice that he wears the same armour as the statues of the Kings in ToPK!?

Maybe the Elonian Gaurds were defeated and the big bad Grasp boss broke free from the rifts - The Fury might be some Liutenant or something from the Grasp's army!
