It really grates me when I see people trying to sell this sword for excessive amounts of money, trying to pass it off as a great 55 tool simply because it (OMG) 5% fast skill recharge.. whats with that? There's one in the Auction room for 25K starting

I'm pretty sure most people know where to get it. It'll be such a waste for someone to buy them that high lol.

thats one of the pre-sear items i keep on each char i create there. i even modded one with a 20% ench to use as an IW weapon for gits and shiggles. i also once sold one for 5k to a guy in LA who was specifically WTBing it - i can understand paying about that much for it if you really want one and dont have a char slot to reroll for it. but yeah, starting it at 25k is pretty excessive. as far as usefulness goes, its not as good as a +5 energy sword and nowhere near as good as a FFS, but i guess its pretty much a vanity thing (having that "l33t" crystalline skin) for lots of people.

I got a couple on my characters... I just use them in PvP and wait till someone say omg crystalline and then I ctrl click on it... well you know the rest. Like who would use a crystal sword when you have a big mutha of a sword that looks like it can give you tetanus just by looking at it.

I sold all of mine to the merchant. Personally, I don't much care for the Crystalline skin. Besides, you can't sell it for that much anyways.
