I am trying to get my grandmaster canthan title. A couple of places I have to go to to get them is both sides of aspenwood and jade quarry "arenas"
Now I have no interest in actually participating and I know how hard it is to actually get a group started in those spots.
Is there any way to get in there without being sworn at and hurting team members when all you want to do is clear map, assuming you can ever get in? I don't even think that it would be possible for some of the forum members seeking the title to try and coordinate a time to meet and sync enter is it?
How to map clear aspenwood/quarry w/o being a jerk?

You'll only find out if you try. =)
I went in several times, and mapped as much as I felt I could without being a burden to my team. I never really waited long to get in - I would just play normally and every so often pop my head in and see how many people were there. If there were plenty of people, i'd stick around. I don't think I ever waited more than 4 minutes before getting into the mission. I wish you good luck.

(Cherno, not being a jerk? heh heh heh)
Anyways, for Aspenwood, go Luxon side and just move around. Luxons can win Aspenwood while being braindead, so the loss of one person is alright.
Jade Quarry is another story. Get some of your guildmates (heh heh heh) and set one up.

Jade Quarry is literally impossible to get in unless you bring friends along. At which point you'll need them on both sides... I've had to go in 3 times now for exploration purposes, generally i think people had more fun klobbering people who were running around not caring about capping.

I've seen a group of people coordinate an exploration group to go through Jade Quarry and running in the international district so they dont disrupt the regular players.
If this is not an option, make multiple runs and *participate* because it is so difficult to get enough people together for it. Jade Quarry requires a full team doing their best to win, and if you're just running around exploring, you're a serious handicap to your team and will only succeed at pissing everyone off. Do the map in small sections... one time fully explore/guard the yellow quarry area, next time do purple, etc. Getting inside all of the alcoves where the NPCs stand is important if you're working for 100% anyway, may as well kill the ones that stand in your way and help the team.
Aspenwood could be done either side, the Luxons usually have such a one sided victory that they won't miss one person... and the Kurzicks usually get beat so bad, one extra person would mean the difference between a 5 minute and a 6 minute loss. I don't feel bad about mapping on the Kurzick side when we're clearly overmatched and will be losing in 2 minutes anyway.

I just played the missions as normal, after finally managing to get into Jade Quarry and that seemed to automatically give me 0.4% or so without going anywhere near the edges.
I think it was a really bad idea for Anet to have PvP areas as explorables. In fact I'm going to go post in the Sanitarium about it. Come support it!

Play normally, play about 10 games. Go through different entrances each time.
Then go to other side (luxon/kurzick) and do the same for bases.
