Well I bought Guild Wars Factions first, and today i'm going to buy prophecies, can i do the prophecies campaign from start to finish on my factions characters?
or do i have to make a prophecies character and start from pre searing?
plz help, i'm confused

what quest do u start from with ur faction char, i heard u can't do all the ascalon quests

You start at Lion's Arch, which is about 1/3 of the way into the game.

You can take your Factions character all the way through, but if it was me, I'd start a new character so you can play through the storyline as it was intended (and see pre-searing!).

Ya pre-searing FTW !! - AND YOU GET TO SEE GWEN !!!!!!!!! You can do the Prophecies campaign (excluded pre-sear) with your Factions characters. If I were you, I'd make a Prophecies characters for the above stated reasons =p

You can do all missions in Tyria with a Canthan character, but no quests before Lion's Arch.

If you havent start GWF yet then imo you should try out with a new toon in GWP. You will like see how beautiful, loving theme in Pre-searing. You should try to finish GWP in the right way and dont rush into it. You should take your time and finish the GWP compaign then start a new toon in GWF.
P.S Try out every single class first in Pre-Searing before decide to move on to Post-Searing ( create and delete )
