This thread was going somewhere until the same people we were intelligently discussing started flaming and got the damned thing locked. Somebody please sticky a post that has intelligent people, discussing relevent events about the game we like to play, and the people we love to hate, and just weed out the posts that try to ruin them. Just don't lock out intelligent conversations because some boob can't handle the critisism directly or indirectly aimed at him or her. This has gone on long enough, it's obvious the community at GwG is tired of it.
Mature, competent gamers are out there, let us speak our piece.
Thanx for ruining a good thread

So spamming is the anwser to flaming?

Heres a solution:
Get off the forums and go somewhere else to cry.
Get off the forums and go somewhere else to cry.

There's nothing in that thread that hasn't been said before a hundred times.

There's something else Lasareth didn't mention in his closing post: there's already a thread for complaining about people.

Also, if a thread was closed and a mod doesn't specifically say it's okay to make a new one, the assumption is ... don't make a new one. So, closed.

If I may bump this thread with a few remarks on my closing of the other...
While the follow-up posts didn't really contribute to the thread at-hand, I'm going to stand by my statement that the thread was, in fact, stagnant. We are well aware of griefers, uncooperative players, and general poor sports.
Moving on to my second comment in the thread, there are ways that are greatly more constructive than sharing an experience and telling people who will not change to log out/delete Guild Wars. Let me throw a few examples out as an illustrative point:
While some may agree or disagree with the methods proposed to the end, the fact is, these threads constructively deal with the problem, instead of negatively impacting the forum with threads to the effect of "shut up and quit GW."
Complaint threads are not the answer. If you really must share a bad experience, do so in the "biggest jerks" thread. What can be done, however, is a well thought out proposal that can change the way the game works. This is considered a more constructive approach to solving the issue, and many people will appreciate the work and thought put into thinking of reasonable alternatives to the current situation and problem.
And as Savio noted, and as stated in the guidelines, if a thread is closed, more often than not any follow-ups referencing that thread as a base of conversation will be closed or deleted on sight. I just wanted to clearly state in this thread my reasoning for closing that thread, so anyone who has a feeling to post a bad experience in a new thread will think twice before doing so.
