? about pricing

as I posted in another thread that was seemingly ignored, I've been trying to sell off a green item (Mossbeard's Wand). Now I checked in the Green items thread and it said 30-50k and I was actually able to sell one for 40k, although I know the buyer actually checked that thread as well.

I got a 2nd one however and I've been trying to sell that off. Problem being that there's one auction that has no bids and is at 5k. I can only assume that others are using this because I've seen people 'wtb' this item for 5k and who have reputedly seen it sold for 5k and wouldn't even bother going after it when the seller raised to 8k.

So my question is, which price is it? Is it the 5-10k or is it 30-50k?

could be 5-10k, could be 30-50k. i know the sticky's aren't updated everyday, but its the general pricing. it could be 60k one day and 10k the next.

Many threads may have items in them that are overlooked and no one bids on them, which is why you are seeing them not bid on. However if its on the auction system the price may have slowly or very rapidly have dropped, sometimes caused by an efficient solo build becoming public. Also, the price guide is updated often, but not EVERY item can be updated frequently.
