why do people buy lots of parchment?

what do u do with a bunch of parch?

Armor for tats(monks and necros), but in Factions seems there is no tat armor I maybe be mistaken.

Use them to crafter Monk's Tatoos and Necro's Scars.

You sell it for a higher price, or make tattoo/ascetic armor.

It's an armor crafting material. Some Monk & Ranger armors use it. Not sure which other professions have armors that require it, tho.

What ranger armour uses it? Only monk and necromancer from what I have seen, and that happens to be a lot

you may find people have crafted this for cheaper than buying it from the trader, and are then trying to sell it on to make a small profit. Ive just recently crafted a bunch of vellum for some FOW scars, the price difference is is in the region of quite a few K for a full set, i could do the same i.e. craft and then sell to players and make some money

Plus, 99% of 55-monk farmers are in tattoos, and there are an awful lot of them.

OR ppl just want to fill their material storage
