I've seen a lot of talk about players battling it out one on one, but I have a question: how exactly do you play a one on one ?

First of all, you will need a guild.
Now, enter the Guild Hall.
Host a scrimmage with just yourself in a party.
Wait for the person you want to duel to join that game.
Voila. 1 vs 1.
Not exactly the way mopst people would have imagined it, but close enough =/

Thanks for the info, but would both player need to be in the same guild hall to be able to join a scrimmage?
You would also need to invite people into your guild as a member/guest I assume?

Um, yes. That's why this system is flawed =/
It's 100 gold a scrimmage against a random opponent ><
Originally, the scrimmage feature was used to help guild "brush up" on their GvG skills. Having one on one battles usually meant stalemates, in a lot of people's minds, so it was never implemented properly.
